Hey all this is my first post! unfortunatly its to ask advise on the results of a moment of exciten madness that accoured after reading the fantastic LST tutorials on here! take a look at the pic

This is one of my little babies - The foot is in there for scale!! - anyway i decided to give the stem a good twist and shake as seen in some of the LST info now i have a very sorry looking stem, shrunken diameter, mrowning and i can actualy see through the splits in it!!!!!

So guys - is this game over? its been about two days since my madness got the better of me and i cant see any yellowing - it stil stands up but falls over if twisted slightly!

Thanks in advance for any helpful advice!

Your still good just give it some time, that method is considered supercropping, do no twist next time, just pinch the stem at the softest newest grow. (1-2" from the top) with a little bend at the point of pinch. thats the basic, there is more to supercropping. but your on the right track. disregard the wound

just let it go and dont bend it, if it falls over leave it, it has to heal so the more you bend the healing parts the longer it will take to heal. and it will heal and recover. trust me man, the plant will heal itself if you just let it be. this plant was supercropped about 1months ago and tied down for LST. it looks damaged but its healthy as the rest of the plant. youll notice a bulge of growth around the injury after a week or two, it will help stabalize the stem and make it stronger. also if i were you i would wait until the plant is taller, remember all the nodes below the supercrop will increase in growth while the upper growth will slow or stay the same.

plants can handle some pretty hardcore wounds.... I have a plant that had a huge branch break off except it was hanging by a thread... I just ziptied it as hard as i could so it would be held up and its completely healed now.... Just put it in the back of your head an it will heal..
