Just having that smell in my garden is enough to keep me satisfied until I chop. Besides, I have a second girl that is trying her hardest to get to the finish line. She has me nervous, but I think I can make it into November the way our weather is going. As long as we get no snow for the next month. I'll keep anything alive if I need to.

I feel for you, my northern Wisconsin neighbors. We have our first frost advisory down here in Milwaukee tonight, but I am ready for it. Lows around 32° tonight and tomorrow, but not in the city. Lake Michigan is keeping us warmer for now. Should get back in the 50s later this weekend. I figure I have a few weeks until it really starts up around here.

Good Luck!!

You don't have to take them yet...sounds like we have the same weather.
Mine are still up and going and still doing fine so far. :)

Just the cold of the last 24 hours have changed my buds. They are covered in frosting like God airbrushed over night. I think this cold will really push this final swell to a harvest real soon.

As a new grower, people try to tell us about that final push and swell period. It is well worth the wait! The smells and the frosty have intensified in the last week. They look like different plants now!!

First real frost here overnight. Probably got to 33°-31° for 6 hours or so. Plant have already perked back up, and should be a good stretch of sun and 50s for a few days now.

It's starting to stay colder now for longer periods in the city known as "The Good Land" along Lake Michigan's shore. Didn't hit 50 today. Will hit 50 tomorrow afternoon, back into the high 40s the next day after that. But dry and sunny, which I like, with brisk north winds, which I don't like.
Saw a sprinkling of amber on today's trich test on my older girl. One week perhaps??

Began to harvest one of my 2 girls today. She is ready. I will update with pics once I am done trimming this big girl. I hate trimming. Hate it. I went 5 hours straight today and I was shakey and stressed by the time I had to get my kid to soccer. Just got to power through and get it done.

Doing a trim tray to try the dry ice trick with the silk sheet as a filter. Very curious about that...

How she looked last moment before I started chopping.

Welcome to trim jail. Trimming sucks, that's for damn sure. I've gotten really lazy about it, I do a rough trim and that's it...not selling, so I don't care if it's pretty. :weed:
That's what I keep reminding myself of. This is my bud, so my trimming does not need to be award winning.
