A question for Subcool

Would growing in a media such as your super soil, or something similar or close too, be superior to growing in, lets say some roots organic straight out of the bag, supplemented with liquid and/or powder nutrients? Would the results be similar or somewhat differential?

I would do the experiments myself, but would rather have your personal opinion on this matter. :peace:

Hi happy leaf. i am going to venture a guess and say the results would be different, or he would do it that way.

Of course the Super Soil would be superior to non ammended organic soil . Most organic nutrients are lacking in different areas . With super soil everything needed is in the soil . Where do you think all the money goes in concocting that recipe? Not to waste

I know the super soil works great given its obvious benefits of supplying the plants every nutritional needs while easing the work and amount of time you may put into feeding your plants by feeding just water, but I can't help but think about other methods of growing and feeding your plants food, to think there is one best way.(not saying anyone does)

My curiosity is besting me

It all comes down to what method works for you . Once a particular growing method is mastered the yields will be there . I don't recommend super soil for unexperianced growers because you can run into problems and already knowing how to diagnose these problems make things go easier when you know what makes the plants tick .

Sorry it was just a coincidence I named roots organic, I'm not only talking about that brand. This question/curiosity has been itchin' on my mind for a while. It arose as a fear that would my crop be somewhat inferior when growing with said method vs super soil, or a close variant. I assume sub has the experience to inform me on my quite confusing and un-radical question that has been lingering with me for so long.

Anyways :peace:

It out performs plain roots bag and roots with the fox farm line.

Sorry, I do realize you frequently deal with the monotony of such questions, but I thank you for clearing this up for me, I'll take your word for it.:peace:

Alright....legendary subcool super breeder present in the thread. Looking forward to your new plushberry. I am subscribed to your youtube channel and enjoy your vids you have been doing recently. The new camera looks great by the way. I need me one of those HD cameras.

I do have a question ofr you...as if you dont get enough stupid questions from moronic wannabe gardeners. I have your supersoil (first batch for me) currently in my grow of 10 plants. 5 gallon pots. I see in your video that you sometimes use Bcuzz Bloom booster. When do you use this? I was think I would hit them at week 2 then again at day 37 with some. I also have some Budswell that has worked great and is 100% organic and some molasses and sweet raw formula that I use about the time resin glands start showing up. This has made my bud very resin covered and taste great along with very good bag appeal. What do you think about using these in my supersoil grow? I am on about my third or fourth cycle so Im not exactly a new grower but not seasoned either. I have the bcuzz and also was wondering how much you have been using per gallon since I have no experience with it and you do.

What do you think about hygrozyme? It has done wonders for my cloneing and early root development. I know that you may not use it but Im sure you have tried it as its very popular with soil growers. I was thinking that useing this if my plants fade to early to release more nutes from the soil. I used hygrozyme last cycle and my lower buds were much bigger. This could just be because I am getting my growing style dialed in better.

Should I use the bcuzz only if the plant starts to fade early? Or do you use it always to stimulate flowers?

Thanks for your time....I know you get many questions from us stoners. Im a old school stoner from the 80s and you can appreciate that...dumb question or not heheh

Thanks

You pretty much answered your question I have a few foods around in case a plant needs feeding.
I cant say I notice any difference with the bcuzz when I use it and to give you an idea that bottle is 4 years old.

If you add anything to super soil add lightly generally when I try and feed in super soil I burn the plants

I use hydrozime near the end of budding to help break down the roots but I cant say I have noticed a huge diff between using and not
just seems Super soil has everything a plant needs

Right on...thanks. One thing I did notice is how dark green the plantsare useing supersoil. when I move em under that 1000 watt hps. I noticed this last cycle with the floranova also but after a week under the big strong light they start useing that nitrogen to stretch and did lighten up to a lighter more lush green just before the buds started forming really nice. Today was harvest day for 4 plants that were in 3 gallon smart pots. Last time I try to flower in these smaller pots. Mabey 1.5 oz per plant with lots of small lowers for honeyoil. I am hopeing I will get nice huge plants in these 5 gallon pots with Super soil. Shit my very first grow was really huge for my first grow with 3 oz on some plants. I have a bluecheeze that makes really long fat resin covered buds that hopefully will like the supersoil. I also have a mendo purp in supersoil and a couple really nice blueberry plants. Im gonna probally make a thread with some pictures now that they are flowering.

Next batch of supersoil I make will be with the biobizz soil that you said would yeald better then the roots organic recipe.

Just having some fun & I think people read to much into these things

When I 1st met Sub we spoke about Super Soil as I am sure he does with most people and the best advise he gave is follow the directions & if your tap water is ok leave it outside for a couple days to remove the contaminates

Like the man said it is just dirt, good dirt mind you but still dirt & water

Follow his LAWS & dank will follow

Thanks
