A Question YET Able To Be Answered...++rep

Ok, so no one seems to know the exact reason but my buds are super loose.. They look like a bunch of upward 1/4 in dreadlocks. Well, Ive started harvest and its super hard because theres a bunch of small leaves poking out in between and its almost too hard not to cut one of the buds(dreadlocks) Im deciding to try and just cut around the buds to almost FORM them into it.. Does anyone think if I buy some kind of metal mesh and wrap some around each bud, the sticky trichs will form together and dry that way? Ideas??lol

you could just smoosh them together till its as dense as you want it, what kind of lights did you use?

If your bulbs are used or too old they wont have the right light and buds will get air-e like that and nodes far apart. probably a light problem

Well ive heard its the strain, but Mista, I did that and it worked perfect. Im using a 600wt HPS nd its brand new so i know its not the light. But the push and stick together real nicely +rep man

Those are stacked calyx's, not a bad thing, just a bitch to trim. Far as being loose, that could be from a number of contributing factors.

Trim 'em up the best you can, then dry and cure, 'bout the only thing you can do.

Nah i pushed em together and trimmed. It worked pretty well thx tho

Those are just some strong-leaning sativa clusters... maybe they needed longer to fill out...it also looks like you trimmed really close as well.

Anyways when you are curing be sure to pack into the jars snug, but not tight. If you air them out every day by burping and making sure each bud is moving around when you do burp them so as to avoid mold growing on spots that are pressed too tightly against either eachother or the glass they should compress and still dry evenly. Hope some of that helps.
