*A quick topping question if you know the answer*

Hello to all those looking in,

I think i've read this somwhere but want to check with you guys who may know.

I like to top my plants when they have grown to a height of 12 inches.

My question, rather than top, the top of the plant.

Top further down the plant more at the height of the other branches bud sites so the plant is more level. This makes all sites grow up thinking they are the main top because they are level.

Is this correct? Or should i just top the very top of the plant only?

I have been growing for about 10 years now and i suggest to top the plant after your first et of 5 finger leaves.

oh. and just top the top !

I tie mine down and every branch makes like the main cola.
