A shot in the dark..seeking my long-lost favorite strain (Green Lantern)

Hello all. I am a long-time reader of rollitup, and I greatly appreciate the community- both past and present. I have been reading and learning from this site for years. I have had many successful grows as a result. Thank you all  .

Now that I have that out of the way..I created this account to put out some feelers and see if anyone out there has a cut or beans of a strain called Green Lantern. Long ago I had a mentor, of sorts, and he had this strain. It will always be my favorite. I long ago had a falling out with this eccentric gentleman, and he had lost the genetics anyway. I have no idea where he got it, but I will say he had it around 2008ish in Ohio. I remember it smelling both fruity and citrusy. Was SUPER fragrant though. You could double triple or whatever bag that shit, it was gonna smell through it lol. I don't really expect anything from this post, but I had to try. I would be eternally grateful to receive a PM.

I have searched google high and low for seeds, and the only thing that I have found is articles about a grower called Ridgeline Farms winning the 2018 Emerald Cup with a strain called Green Lantern. It's anybodies guess if this current strain is even related.

Thanks for the reply. I have to think they aren't the only ones holding it, if it is indeed the same genetics. I've read it may have been around since the old days?

I thought about doing that very thing, but I have heard a few different things about the origins of the strain..mostly that they are unknown. I may try it anyway eventually.
