A tale of CFL's and one lonely 600W HPS...

Ok guys I am trying to start an open discussion on the possible benefits and or dangers running CFL's and HPS together during VEG.

I am currently running CFl's but just today I think my ladies are big enough to enjoy some real light...

In order to start this thread, I have a few questions...

1) If the HPS is too much heat, light, money, ect., is there any problem with going back to a cfl setup for a few more days to give the plants a rest?
2) Or what about since I am going 24/0 during veg, could I do 12h with HPS and 12h with CFL's?

Your thoughts please!

Not A Bad Question... I Dont Know. But I Do Know Plants Dont Need To Rest, Well Our Kinda Plants Anyway, If Your Girls Are Looking Healthy, I Would Keep Them In The Stronger Of The Lights, Better Production More Light Bigger And Badder Plants. Just My Thoughts. Dbb.

1. cant have too much light, heat can be vented, and it wont cost alot compared to what you get in the end.
2. i have, in my veg room, 2 daylight cfl's and 1 400 watt MH. in the day when its hot, ill turn off the MH and only keep on the 2 cfl's. at night when its cooler, ill turn on the MH light. so far i have 8 fem White Berry from paradise seeds, 2 clones in dirt, and 18 in an aerocloner sharing light and its working great as it goes. my 2 cents.
