Just wondering if the benificial microbes will survive in a soilless medium? I've searched but can't find an answer.

What soilless medium are you referring too? Peat moss yes
Are there any benefits? The next watering may be a nutrient watering, is that ok? Good question op, its been talked about and debated in the past. Nice to see different views on things!!!!

I'm a little confused about your question good sir! Are asking if there is a benefit to adding microbes?

Yes in a soilless where one would be adding salt nutrients next or soon after. I guess my question would be, is it a waste to add AACT if your going to be watering with salts because after all one would be in soilless (peat/pertalite).

What is white peat? I am unfamiliar with the term. But the tree bark is organic matter, and so the microbes will thrive!
White peat is a Canadian peat moss. Thanks again Roy!

I just bought a boat load of Ammendments and need some help building my soil.
I have Crab Meal, Fish Meal, Kelp Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Neem Seed Meal, Oyster Shell Flour, Seabird Guano and Bat Guano(Veg).
Should I add 1/2 cup of each per 7 Gallons of Soil? I read in one of your threads that some of these ingredients are added at the same rate.

Word! Dont know that I've ever heard it called that.

I would leave the guano out of the soil since its so water soluble. But it'll be great to have on hand to give your plants a boost if they need it.

If you follow my recipe, where your soil medium is about half compost...then I would do 1/4 cup of oyster shell flour...if it's mostly the peat I would do 1/2 cup.

I would do 1/4 cup of fish meal and a 1/2 cup of everything else!

I had the same question as you before. I am doing teas with my pro mix bx with a soil drench and foliar spray with A and B. Other plants are just getting maxibloom that's it (Lucas formula). Either the teas or my A and B is producing bushier slightly healthier plants then maxibloom so it's a possibility the teas are a help to answer your question.. still in early veg. P.s. going with rastaroys mix for next round though!
