? about autoflowering plants outdoors

I recently moved to a townhome where the only stealthy way for me to keep growing is on my balconey where the plants will get partial sun or in a small corner of my patio. So I ended up buying some autoflowering beans from Mdanzig & Lowlife. I bought them thinking they would be perfect since I've read that the autoflowering strains do not go by the amount of light but by time instead. But I recently read somewhere that its not worth growing them outside unless they get many hours of sun. Has anyone grown auto strains outdoors and gotten sizeable yields?

It depends on the strain, i have grown the lowlife auto hindu kush outside and the plants got bout 15 inches and the biggest one weighed 52 grams....it depends on a lot of shit that affects how big, small, tall, short or smelly your plant gets.

I think you have to seperate the definition for light and sun. They autoflower regardless of light cycle but that does not mean that they do not like energy from sun or lights. I will be starting these same plants up in about a week if all goes well with my order. Will be doin them outside and will let you know how I'm going.

Thanks for the inputs. The strains I bought were Auto Ak47, Auto Blue Streak, & Auto Diesel Ryder. At this point all I can do is grow them out and hope for the best!
One more question: Should I start these auto strains in small pots and transplant them once they showed their sex or just grow them in larger pots?

I would just get a three gallon bucket and plant them in there and not worry about it. Where did you get the Ak-47 seeds?
