? about clones

i purchased this clone maker that keeps the clones in water like a deep water culture with a air pump and its been 2 weeks and i pulled one out tonight out of the rockwool and still no roots. they look great and i used root tone and cut at a angle. the water seems a little cold and i have them in a dome with a t5 light on 24/7. is the water or lights being on 24/7 a issue.

2 weeks and something is wrong, they should root in 3-4 days with the right light and temp. i cut my clones at the angle and then split the stem down the middle and scrape off the first layer of "skin" and dip into clone-x and can count on roots in 4 days.

if the cubes are submerged in water thats not going to work. look at the bottom of the stem is it fat and green? sum strains take 3 weeks to root the fastest i have had is 5 to 7 days

thats how i cut clones run 2 foot t5s thru a plastie dome over your tray of cubes just a little water so the humidity stays up throw a damp towel over the top if humidity is a issue. keep in a warm place use a heating pad on a timer on for a hour or two every 5 or 6 hours.009.JPG

you have the cuttings in a rockwool cube submerged in the water??

try with no cubes
Agree. If you gonna clone in rockwhool do it the old way. In a mondi tray and dome. You your cloner using neoprene inserts. And give it time I've had them take as little as 3 days and as long as 3.5 weeks.

take them all out bud, you dont put them on if you bubblecloning

get small fish tank heater soyou can get the temps up a bit

use a meter to check the temp of the water if you have one
