? about cloning hormone

I'm about ready to start cloning and I was wondering if anybody has used Roottech cloning hormone? Any advice on what kind of rooting hormone I should use?

really any kind of rooting gel should do the trick. I tried with the rooting powder but didnt have much success

i dont think powder is suggested for any edibles or in this case smokable, plus the dust gives u cancer, rootech is awsome, almost done with my bottle. i get cloines in 9 days with my rapid rootetrs, good luck brotha

I use shultz root take and its a powder, have gotten roots in about 7 with white widow. I cut the tips of the leaves off 2 days before I take the actual clones off the plants. Then make sure you cut with a clean razor blade and go straight to clean water and soak. Then dip and stick in medium. I have almost a 100% success rate doing it this way

Olivia's cloning gel is the best, you don't have to dilute it and it works fast. http://www.hydroponics.net/i/351005 , many places sell it, this is just a quick one I pulled from a search.

The powders are shit imo.

I use Rootech will good success. I like Olivias as well. Personally I prefer the thick gel type as they stick well.

dip n grow is the strongest concentration of rooting hormone available without it being a powder and you can dilute it as much as you want really.

In a liquid it has the ability to more freely move up the xylem after being cut and gels have more of an ability to swell cells due to prolonged exposure. Hence I dip to get hormones to the cambium wall where roots form, and place them in a gel lined hole of whatever planting medium I am using which allows for epidermis and cortex to swell allowing for root permeation.

I use both a dip and a gel and can get roots in 5 days if I am lucky.
