i have a little time this morning so i'll update on my grow i used stealth hydro nutes until 2 wks into bloom cycle then something went wrong & i almost lost everything leaves started dying off at an alarming rate i had just put in an electric heater as it had been freezing every night next morning i had aroom & res tmp. of 80. temps had previously been low 50 range leaves looked overwatered or possible mag defiency i flushed the res & switched to gen-hydro nutes floranova a friend uses them for his ebb &flow set up & also added cal -mag 5 days later i had significant new leaf & bud growth as well next res. change i added liquid kool-bloom i now have some huge top buds[one of them will weigh 1 oz. dry or more] i scraped up a little cash & bought ph.&tds. meters & will stay with the gen hydro nutes cause you can dial them in to your plants&whatever phase theyre in gen hydro has feeding schedules for their food. i'm using 400w.mh&hps i bought at htg. but am going over to 600w. next grow with air cooled hood & fan which my old light didnt have & caused heat issues last summer its far easier to spend the money & do it right the first time. estimated yield around1/4lb+ & would be better if i hadnt mix-matched my plants the mango overpowered 3 smaller plants even after tieing it down & threatened the sour diesel as well mango is very agressive& hardy sour diesel is almost as good & gave me one bud that is the largest but overall i give the mango a slight edge i will do both again . my growroom is 4'x3' -81/2 tall & with the bigger light i'm going to put 2b/p units side-by side with 4 plants each i've been accumulating materials to build the units i'm switching over to rain-bird drip system heads as they have a large capacity filter inside that is easily accessable from top of the head i used a kit from lowes & had nothing but problems the rain bird cured that once the roots hit the nutes you dont need the tubes& i'm gonna look into larger air pumps & doing away with tubes altogether i think illegal smile may be right i got a digital camera for x-mas & will soon learn to post pictures
