about to start flowing quick question

Say I start with a 600 hps and then add a 1000 a few weeks in then take it back out for a week wut would that do

why would you do that? im guessing it would grow...??
but 1600watts hps is overkill, IMO
yr 600 watt hps should do just fine on its own.

how many plants?

600 would do 4 plants max

Depends the size of the plants.....ive seen single plants take all of what a 600 can put out and ask for more.

Yeap me too im happy with what ever i grow indoors under LEDS if it's quality but i would enjoy a pound plant, might plant one out the back, summer is 3 weeks away =)))

How do the leds work for you? Ive been thinking about one of them NextLights full spectrum led setups...but $1300 is steep.

Waiting for her to finish up.....another 2-3 weeks yet...cant wait to see what it comes out to....600watt hps top down aero setup.

Im just growing 1 plant under a cheap MarsHydro 96x3 watt reflector, puts out 200 watt at the wall and the buds are just starting too build trics =)) good for closet grows, no aircon needed, just a fan and a oil heater at night

Not really a hijack, there is good info there, a 600 watt hid will be fine for 4 medium sized plants....2-4' tall id say...basically a 9 sq foot area. Personally i would put the 1000 watt above them and call it a day untill they are ready for harvest if you have the 1000 watt handy.

i do plan on a stadium for perpetual next go round so ill b putting 18 into flower

i dont really care about the hijack i was joking knowledge is power and we can learn from each other

With 18 in flower if you are gowing small to medium plants id use both the 1000 and 600 for 18 plants myself
