Abstract Colored Pencil

I have wanted to start painting for the past couple of years; haven't gotten around to it. As of this month, I finally started doing something though. I'm using recycled cardboard and colored pencil to create designs and hopefully start dabbling in paint on canvas here soon. Here is one of my pieces I created!

@bushybush You are right, these are Prismacolor Premier. I haven't used colored pencils since high school (almost ten years now); and they have so many different types of Prismacolor compared to what I remember. I created another piece on card board a week ago:

I went through a lot of pencil, I push pretty hard. I bought paints and canvas though; a bit nervous to start really.

WHOA!!! I really like these! Prisma markers and pencils are sooooo delicious!

You've totally got the canvas! If I may make a suggestion, I would just "work backwards" so to speak. Let each overlapping layer dry nicely and do your black outlining at the end. I think it will turn out great!!
