AC and CO2 on at the same time?

hello,
i was wondering i can have AC and CO2 on at the same time or is this just wasting CO2? i would have the oscillating fans and the scrubber fan off, but i am worried that the temps will be too high with the AC off. the AC unit i use has an exhaust and intake tube that goes out to a separate room. thanks.

It sounds like you have a portable AC. The portable "stand up" units that are expensive and run a tube to a window exhaust air through that tube. This is unlike most window type air conditioners that recirculate the air in the room becuase they passively radiate heat out window.

Again, it sounds like your AC exhausts the air it cools. Not only will this rob c02 but more importantly it will remove odor from your grow room which I am always paranoid about. Even if scrubbed.

Thats what I was going to say about the odor going out the window w/ the portable a/c's. Does anyone know if the window units exhaust odor from the room to the outside while cooling the room?

most of them have some kind of carbon filter on them. probably helps but depending on how many plants are flowering you may have some issues. I personally havent climbed to the second story to smell the air coming out my window unit.

The blower dosnt push enough CFM on those portable units to push through a carbon filter. If your do that its going to be very innefficient.

I 2nd that ^ I have already tried it and the heat just backs up and the a/c starts spewing out hot air.
