AC Infinity, Spider Farm and Gorilla ...Grow tent opinions.

I've not grown in several years and looking for a new tent. The last one I had was a vivosun and it was just ok but did have some issues with zipper, light leaks and the poles were not that strong. I was wanting a 2x4 and or 4x8 and was wanting the opinion for (AC Infinity, Spider Farm and Gorilla) tents. A heavy duty zipper and think canvas with sturdy poles..just overall good quality. A lot of people like the Gorilla and say they are the most heavy duty but then I see where some like the AC or SF ones and say they are close and cheaper. I'm in the US so whatever would have to be available here.

Just my two cents, I have no interest in SF so it would be ACI or Gorilla. Of those two, I'd go with ACI unless I wanted the extra height of the Gorilla's

Thanks, I'm mainly concerned with the overall quality..zipper, canvas and heavy duty structure poles. The old vivosun I had had issues with the zipper, light leaks and the poles barley held up the carbon filter and led lights which was was only about 60lbs or so.

AC and Vevor both offer tents with 2000D and 22mm poles with all metal connectors. Pretty sure in both 2x4 and 4x8. Not sure if either offers anything over 6ft tall though besides Gorilla and SF. Vevor might.

Yep AC and Vevor do offer a 4x4x80" for about $160 on Amazon. My AC 2x4x6 is still doing fine after about a year. They have good sales on them occasionally too. Its well under $130 atm.

My ac 4x8 had a zipper malfunction at about 20 months old and they sent me a whole new cover without me even asking. I contacted them about a way to fix the problem and they just sent out a new one. I guess the 2 year warranty is a good reason to go with them.

I have a Viparspectra and an AC infinity tent of the same size, and the AC infinity is a significantly better tent. The zippers are more solid and the fabric is thicker on the AC infinity. The Viparspectra main zipper is already fucked up after 2 years. It‘s also always leaked light through the zipper. It’s a veg-only tent for me. The AC infinity tent has thicker poles, and they don’t flex from hanging stuff from them. Some of the poles in my Viparspectra tent are already bent, from the same amount of weight or less than I hung from the AC infinity tent. For the money, I feel it’s a pretty solid tent.

Not sure if ACI fixed this yet, but their upper exhaust openings are set too low to the floor. It's a design flaw for sure. If I remember correctly, the bottom lower diameter measured at 4' 6". I ended up running my inline and filter outside of the tent, just to raise the light. I also have a Gorilla Grow 4x8 ... good sturdy tent, tall, sturdy zippers, expensive as fck.

Is Gorilla known for every having deep discounts ..like around the holidays that makes the price more comparable with AC?
On the exhaust issue you note..you're the second person that has said this to me..anybody have a pic of this? I do run the filter inside and the inline fan outside.

I have both ACI and Vivosun. ACI is way better and a great bang for the buck. Is it as good as a Gorilla?, I don't know as I wouldn't dream of spending that kind of coin on a tent but I would say it gets you 95% as good for less than half the cost.

I wouldn’t consider that a flaw. I like my fan outside of the tent.

I bought mine on Black Friday, they included the 1 foot height extension for free, but your still looking at high 400's for the 4x8. Excellent tent, just a little cost anxiety. Here's a pic of the AC.

So GG tents don't have a exhaust port on the side? That's one thing I did like about the cheap vivosun tent it had ports on the sides and top. I put the filter in the tent hanging above the lights at the very top..then attach a 6inch dryer flexible duct to the filter and run it out a port to my inline fan.

I have one of all of them, and AC is the best. The spider farmer is surprisingly good. The vivo gets the job done, and the Gorilla has the worst zipper/door design you can imagine. I HATE my Gorilla tent.
