Don't blaze and operate cameras, dangerous stuff!

Go and search for a data recovery company near you. You want one that has been in business for a few years so they aren't learning on your stuff.

yeah bro, you should probably take it to a computer/data expert. They should be able to recover the data from the card..

Best of luck to ya's.

peace.

try a program called get data back, if your pc sees your camera as a drive use that on it.
awesome lil program and can retrieve data after 5 formats.
can use it for ntfs and fat file systems.

What azman sais, use get data back, or any of the hundreds of other free apps out there, and just tell it toi scan the flash drive when it prompts you for a directory to scan. In the past it has worked well for me although i have never manage more than around a 75% recovery of photo's and such (and that was with hard disk drives, not flash memory, although in principle it should be the same.

While you're waiting for the data recovery experts, call up everybody at the wedding and see if they got pics to share with you. Sorry that it happened, but I lost a families worth of pictures from this computer and my only fix was to scan the 1000s of pics back into the computer. Your problem is a bit more serious than that.

I'm not so sure about memory sticks, but when something's deleted from a computer it's not really gone and can, with great difficulty, be recovered. I'm assuming that memory sticks work the same way.

Good luck.

Exactly how it works, the system places a flag on the bit which tells the system that it is available to write over. Once you've installed the software, it's generally as simple as abc, you click a start button and it does it's thing.

Good Luck, my friend. Hope you recover them pics. Are you a photographer by trade?
hey mate shot over 500 weddings. this has to be the most stupid mistake ive done in my life so far. i downloaded getdataback and ran it on the card, it can see the deleted files there, so i decided to send it away to a company that specialise in this they charge $500 if they recover. they take a clone of the card before they work on it. i probably should have continued with the software and did it myself, but with whats at stake i feel more comfortable in the hands of the professionals

$500, are you fucking serious? You just got ripped the fuck off :( All you needed to do was click "save" or "retrieve" once it has detected the deleted files. They will be doing nothing different to this other than the fact that they will probably have a paid license for the software.
