Acidic flashbacks

Gee whiz, 45 years to the day when I dropped my first tab of LSD. I can remember driving over the Golden Gate bridge with multicolored paisely shooting off of the top. I can remember shooting pool and making shots i never could make before. I can recall seeing the strange patterns in builing architects. I can still savor how good that orange soda tasted. Can you dig it?

It wasn't 45 years ago for me but I can related.
The golden gate is my fav landmark of all times.I have had a few(understatement) great trips when I lived on the Haight. I hope to return for a visit someday, maybe score some doses. Some trips lasted for weeks even months. Sometimes we got carried away going to Berkeley, lol.I lost it public a few times in San Fran before also.WOW.The sidewalks were 100 (s)feet deep and buildings were taller.Walking was a chore. My hair on my arms was 8 inches think and rainbow'd.Nobody believes the amounts we used to take of raw, pure LSD.I used to love a heavy trip.I have moved away from HS,unfortunately.I tried some paper lately but its a joke around here. The best way for me to describe my time on the Haight is the movie Fear n Loathing in Las Vegas

NEVER HAD A FLASHBACK

Hiking the Grand Canyon with a bunch of strangers. The walls of the Canyon were beaming with orange and green. I was the only one tripping so the experience was very weird. We eventually got half way down and set up camp for the night. Putting up the tent was impossible even tho I've put up plenty of tents in my life. When we got done with that, it was time to eat. Summer sausage, bagels, and nutella. Fucking gross. I only ate about 1/4 of a bagel. I was very anxious because it was setting in I was stuck in the canyon with these people. Went into my tent to isolate myself..turned on some dead and everything instantly became better. Crazy how Jerry will do that to ya. Later on when the sun was going down we hiked to a point where you could see down to the Rio Grande and you could see how huge the Canyon really was. If you saw my pic in the picture of yourself thread, this is when that pic was taken. An incredible experience to say the least.

I've had plenty of bad trips too. If I shared them I'd sound fucking crazy lol.

There are patterns that still mess with my perception, certain malls floor tiles and this for some strange reason

Not so much breathe, but a slight movement, as if it were moving until I looked at it....see trippy lol

Its been 16-17 years since my largest acid binge >100hits in like 2-3 mo then continued on a lil more reserved hit or two a week pattern for a few years. It's been at least 12 years since ive had a hit and I still have visuals to this day.

Right after the bender I had troubles going back to school because I had difficulty reading because the words on the page kept moving. After a few years that subsided or I just got used to and only notice if I pay attention. ... to this day.

walls breath, grass, carpet... not full on intense but its there. Thankfully no body high though Even with the zoloft I have the visuals..

Biggest portion of use was I dunno 95-98

Acid is great but hate the first, jittery part of the ride. And then - trying to finally get to sleep when the sun is coming up and still seeing shooting sparks, colors and strange shapes in my fried brain. All the rest is da' bomb!

I've never had a flashback exactly but as I'm getting older, going without sleep for a day, topped off with a few bowls of Durban Poison have things "shadow jumping" and getting "wavy" in the periphery. I'm not sure if I should be grateful or concerned. :weed:

I'm a fucking cosmonaut, LSD allowed me to develop a better sense of humor.
Flashing lights on a yellow street sign got me good once as I drove past. Shit wasn't so much fun.

One night after I realized I had infact created life on earth and this body was my current reincarnation and the earth was actually far less inhabited than previously thought. I decided to make a phone call, I walked to the pay phone which was in the middle of nowhere's basically, and dialed l-o-v-e- into the phone over and over, because obviously my girlfriend at the time was going to answer and come pick me up. Love was busy that night, but my buddy paged me at 420am and I walked back home.

I've eaten my fair share of acid and still enjoy it on occasion. Can't say I've had what I would consider a flashback but as mojo said certain patterns will make me feel like I'm tripping. Wood floors and textured ceilings always do it for me.
