Sorry I've been a little mia on this stuff. The ACMPR is the new MMPR? This now has an option to grow you own cannabis? Already having a MMAR am I still covered/grandfathered? Or are we required to go to the new system?

I was just told by a clinic that I am not able to get them to sign me up as my own grower without them signing me up for an LP, who i then have to buy seed from to grow, all the while the legal genetics i produced for myself under mmar are not legal anymore and no LP sells seeds. She also told me that the doctor wouldn't sign me up to grow at home and i had to buy LP cannabis.

It's a huge problem with access if what she told me is accurate. The acmpr patients can't grow without LP seed and no LP sells seed yet because they don't want to have patients growing at home. She laughed nervously when she told me this and her body language went awkward. It's frustrating to try and stay on the level and be told you can't. She was baiting me to join the clinic and use and LP under the guise that eventually one of them would produce seed and then allow me to purchase and grow my own but she would support my right to grow which was just not ever going to come to fruition.

I have a feeling the new program is not for me and these fake clinic/snake oil salesmen doctors/administrative gatekeepers are as morally corrupt as used car salesmen.

there's more proof that Dr's have no clue.
they should sign your paperwork and off you go. they certainly don't ask which pharmacy you're going to when they write a script.
I just love how they're trying to protect us from something they have almost no idea about

I told her that and she got mad and told me that by asking that i was putting the 3,800 patients or whatever from the clinic at risk...my health is important just like everybody else. there is no database for benzodiazapenes...anyway she told me under no circumstance I would ever get access from her clinic to my own grow and that it wasn't feasible from others as well. Completely shinning me on and trying to scare me.

Such a waste of energy and emotion

Honestly we need a class action to stop this LP mafia monopoly bullshit. I could see challenging HC's requirement for a "original document" since in every other facet of life a copy (email, fax etc.) works just fine. A copy is still a prescription.

Dont use them try
Do no harm
Grow legal.

Which clinic was this you speak. There should be a list of good and bad clinics.

How much was this one?

My dr told me that he doesn't care where I get my meds and would rather I use tested bud but it's not his decision.
He wouldn't up my script to make edibles because he said I'm at his max comfort level.
But he said anything Is better than 10 perks a day.

To answer your original post you are grandfathered for now until the Rec rules come out and there are changes or if you require changes to ur mmar pinks then you need to switch to acmpr.

I was told by someone at hc that if rec rules are as unrestricted as they should be then the med program could become moot altogether.
Also when they announced the acmpr they clearly said it was temporary until changes next spring.
Unlimited for who to grow?

I hope that they allow people to produce goods like farmers do. Or even the same type of system for tabbaco production and sale.

This is wrong, but I think you may have miss read.

The title of this is ACMPR vs MMAR, but then the OP goes on to ask whether his MMPR license now grandfather's him into the ACMPR. And whether or not it allows him to grow his own.

Unless you were an old MMAR patient and covered under the injunction, you need to sign up under the new ACMPR program to be allowed to grow your own.

I think that's what she meant.
If even rec users are allowed to grow a small quantity for themselves then the only thing that differentiates a patient would be plant count.
Personally I don't understand everyone comparing mj with tobacco or even alcohol for that matter. I've never heard of anyone being prescribed tobacco or booze.

Hopefully all this stupidity will sort itself out so everyone can medicate however they see fit.
And the petty arguments and negativity on this site can end.

Yes sir you are correct.
The title and opening post are contradictory. I misunderstood his position.
Thank you

It is being compared to tabbacco as a product of sale in a recreational model right now.

Why wouldn't you compare recreational things to other recreational things. The wonders of this plant, it can be used as a mwdicine or for recreational purposes.

Tobacco has been scientifically proven to cause cancer and kill people.
Alcohol has also been scientifically proven to cause all sorts of health problems and will eventually kill you.
Mj has been used rec/medically since the beginning of time and even tho there's armies of people hoping for it to be harmful, they can't even say That.

This was just a model of sale. Im not comparing whats good and bad. Some meats cause cancer and?

Now back to recreational market Again I stay my postion marijuna should be allowed to be grown recreationally like how one is able to produce tabbacoo.
