ACMPR - wait times

Yes, the medical document comes in the mail very quickly. You still have to register with HC and fill out their stupid paperwork. I just do not want you to think you are finished and sit on that paperwork for a few weeks like I did.
Yes, I do need the original to send in with my paperwork. My part is all filled out. I will buy a half letter size envelope at the Post Office and mail it asap. Does registration take anything beyond their form?

The health canada documents have to be filled out, you send both them and the original medical document (make a copy for yourself) in and then wait for processing. I recommend sending it registered so that they have no ability to claim that they did not receive it.

Just watered the girls. I am getting help to re organize the tent tomorrow. The wife came out to have a look and even she was impressed. They are very healthy. The auto flower plants have many bud sites. Five of them are in three gallon fabric pots under 900 watts LEDs, two others are in five gallon pails under 2,000 watts LEDs. It will be interesting to see any difference. I was just using the pots I had available at the time. Once the auto flower get pulled out of the tent, it will be put on 12-12 lighting and changed over to Ganja Brand Bloom nutrient mix. The bloom/flower clock will start. Only one other is in vegetative state still, a Purple Kush auto.

Here is a shot across the auto flower clan. The two in five gallon blue buckets are about the same size as the biggest in the three gallon pots . Three are smaller and one in between. Love the bud sites everywhere.
Just ordered another grow light. The auto flower clan (seven) is too big for the 900 watt grow light alone. Addition of the new 1,500 watt unit will better cover the herd and improve my produce. I am only growing a portion of what I am allowed. Next year will be more organized.

Renewal update.
It has been a year now after initial licensing. I sent my documents off late for renewal as I had planned to send off at least 8weeks prior to expiration. Well life got busy and I got lazy and did not send until October 2018 the same month it was to expire in. Yes stupid me. Anyways I sent it in and 4 weeks later I have recd my renewal license with a proper start and end date. Meaning I get my full year in now.
So if this is a small step of getting app processed somewhat quicker than yeah.
Yes many are still getting screwed over but I am only posting my results with the process.

Next goal is to have local doc sign off on prescription. ;-)

My application has not produced any mail yet. I did send email asking how long it takes and I was told 8 weeks, mine is at about 5 or 6 weeks at this point. Should this application fail, my pain doctor is now prepared to sign. I am at the top of what he can prescribe on opiates, still got more pain than pills. Hip replaced in two weeks. Hope that helps lower my pain. One thing I have learned is label the jar and not the lid. Mixed up my lids, now is it Pineapple Rush or Gorilla #4? Tried them both now I am buzzed. They work!

So you sent it Oct 15-19 and got the renewal Nov 12-16? That's pretty fast, I don't have as high hopes, because I have a rural address last year I sent mine Nov 24 and didn't get it back until February 8

I am not sure if what the actual wait times are for new applications these days. Have not been following as close since I have mine (selfish) but we all agree that is still unacceptable. Especially once one has a doctors prescriprion. Good tip on labeling the jar. I am sure many of the conniseaurs(?) on the forum would identify immediately. Me maybe not so much. But would be fun trying.

I called in (google ACMPR phone nunber it comes up bold) and asked if they recd my renewal which they verified the date of receipt. They said it was still being processed as I asked current status as my original application was to have been missing a signature which caused a unnecessary delay. So i needed to send in an additional page. !!! Anyways ask status as you will be told it’s being processed. But you may also be told it has be sent out which means in mailbox or about to be in mailbox. ;-)
Don’t shoot the messenger the person on the other end is only doing their job so they too get a pay Chq.

And yes I consider that very fast. I had seen a previous post that someone had in 3 weeks. I figured I could only wish. That is when i called and was told being processed. :-/

One week later ;-)

My expectations were 6 or less weeks.

I smiled at the jar thing. My first harvest I did that but when I went to burp I realized. Then I changed the labels to the jars. Lol.
Anyway, I’m a new applicant and the government has had my application for 2 months so I’m hoping any time now.

Thanks Chef420, I sit here all the time but knowing I am being heard and appreciated makes a difference to me.
I too am a new applicant. Sent mine registered so I know they got it 10/10/18. This helps not, I await the mail person who might or might not be on strike. Their strike rotates, I tell you what I wish them about rotating. No, better not. I read 1984.

My doctor left a release page on the desk two weeks ago, this week I asked if another doctor would sign the Health Canada paperwork because he obviously is not interested in helping me. He told me to go back to my first doctor who unfortunately is retired and in Nova Scotia. I am in Ontario. He said he gave the paperwork to the front desk because he had never seen it before. He took the release to the front desk and asked for two weeks to have it gone over. He is my new doctor after changing clinics to be closer to home. He reacted only after I threatened to go to another doctor. He seemed surprised when I said all his signature is stating is that I am prescribed 4 grams a day of THC. That is all he is admitting to. I should not have to go and pay for this, I have paid in pain, I qualify and I deserve it. He has not actually prescribed any THC for me as of yet, the last prescription is still in force. Maybe when he fills out the new LP forms I will bring out the other paperwork again, highlight the part that says the same thing as he just signed, paperclip $20.00 to it and see if he will sign. I just learned this is a repetitive concern.
Good site. Any other ideas?
Where are you from may I ask maybe I can help?
I suggest calling your local hospital and ask for list of family DR's taking patients ,also try asking the clinics as often the DR's there have a private practice to so you might luck out there, they have lists sometimes as family Dr is way more likely to agree than a clinic, to me you have to get a local family DR.
I would be glad to try and find a name for you if know is you in Canada USA can't help.
Clinic DR's don't like prescribing grow your own sooner just send you to a place that uses this
https://canvasrx.com/
which my DR tried then I went back and said I can't afford to buy and need to grow he then agreed.

That Doctor that would not sign reversed his decision and as soon as I had another Medical Document filled out and handed in, he was filling it out. He had never seen it and was bound by the clinic rules he works with. At least he is prepared for the next deserving soul. Or me if the other application goes bad. Due here any time now.
