you guys know the kush smell and taste I'm talking about.

Every1 is slaping kush at the end of strain names and it's getting harder to find that kush smell and taste.

World of seeds afghan kush special was a failure (as far is it having he kush taste and smell).

I'm looking for a seed bank & strain that has the good ol kush smell and taste....It's getting so hard to find them.

Can someone please help ????

I'd say you're looking for a Pakistani based strain. I'd say try Pakistan chitral kush.
I cant emphasize enough how amazing this strain is and how overlooked it is at the same time, Im stoked to see someone else mention it. It doesnt get a lot of hype and it is difficult to find information about it online from reviews, and the even seed banks dont have congruent descriptions. sweet, kushy taste, and absolutely over powering aroma. You wont find it in a coffee shop or a dispensary, but if you are looking for an indica hybrid with a sativa high, look no further, and get some seeds. Seriously large, though not extremely dense, bud development in the last few weeks, extremely hairy, but...it takes 9 weeks to get it right, its not super trichy, and it does not grow uniformly, making it hard to control, not to mention it nute burns easy, so light on the food. Mediocer concentrates post harvest as well. All this is just what I have heard, good luck

i disagree.. if you're looking for that kush taste and smell, like pine and coffee flavors, then you're looking more for an og kush, and not a land race kush, which is completely different from an og kush and the tastes are nothing even close ime..
land race kush's like pakistani and hindu kush are pretty much pure indica's, while og kush has quite bit of sativa in them..

if you're looking for a nice og kush taste, check out tahoe og from the cali connection, or the ghost cut og kush from dr greenthumbs, both very bomb and both very og in flavor..

White Master Kush from OGraskal will give you exactly what you are looking for. Trust me, I have grown it multiple times, probably up to 40 seeds of it now. I wouldn't even waste my time with anything else.

Citral is pretty good...it was my first grow. Hugaddiction's description was dead on! Can't comment on Kush flavor, since I haven't had any good Kush back when I had this stuff, but it resembled licorice, herbs and lime. Also, OG flavor and Kush flavor are quite different...and imo, most "OG Kush" strains lean towards OG...

Well, the classic "Kush" smell around BC (different than the States perhaps, I'm not sure) is a distinct lemon/diesel/skunk hybrid of an odor that just smells dank. There are a bunch of Kush varieties just like there are a million OG Kushes in the States. The Afghan Kush Ryder I grew this summer had a pretty distinct what I would describe as a kush odor, similar to the plants around here. I wouldn't recommend growing autos except in select/limited circumstances though. However their Kush lines probably have a similar smell. Like I said, can't comment on how this compares to the OG. Although I did have what was described as "Buddah Kush" recently that was something I hadn't seen before and I suspect it was Cali Connect's Buddah Tahoe based on how strong it was and the odor. I would say it was similar to a BC Kush, but with subtle, yet fairly obvious differences.

both OG's are excellent and uber-potent but for best kush flavour Bubba Kush or Bubba OG are miles ahead

i grew cali con's pre 98 and the taste was super amazing, but i was really let down in the yield dpt with that strain, which is why i don't recommend it too often..
i'd love to try drgt's bubba though as his ghost cut yielded great for me.. :D

I've been posting/searching around the forums/socal for some REAL kush as well. I just moved last year from the midwest and I can't believe how I could take that real kush taste for granted. It's hard to separate the diff kush tastes since any masterkush i've had from a dispensary seems to be midgrade or super earthy/bland in taste and high but I can def say NOT og in taste. Anyone have any info on blackberry kush leaning on the kush side not the berry? In socal it's hard to find. I've heard damn good things about raskal cuts and someone was telling me about Dog kush from breeders boutique. But yea, clubs don't seem to have alot of non og kush. Anyone have info on who has clones/flowers of the real pure kush? I've had it and it was just the beesknees, absolute tens in every category. Any info on places to checkout for non og kush would be greatly appreciated. Also am totally willing to drive up north if it's worth it.

ive been wondering the same thing, back a few years ago we got some 80's hindu kush, smelled awesome citrus piney muskey, but the og's taste MUCH different, and i think those overgrow chem flavors are getting associated with the word kush, were as the oldschool landrace kush's taste much different from the chem/kush hybrids, IMO.

the closest ive found to the oldschool kush's (before being introduced to the chem fam) in taste was barney's vanilla.

ive been very interested in this same subject. any old timers notice the difference from og kush to old school hindu or pakistani, ect..?

Is the white master super fuelly
Not at al. It's straight kush. After a bowl is smoked in a room, you can still smell the kush hours later. Soooo bomb. Some of the best tasting herb I have grown. There's a reason I continue to grow it years after my first go with her. I have gone through 100's of strains in the last few years and she continues to hold her spot. I've grown the real So Cal Master Kush by herself an I still prefer the WMK. The White gives her the extra boost needed in growth and yield.
