Hi there. I'm pretty new to posting on this site but i've been reading through it a lot and i have really enjoyed learning about this incredible hobby
Anyways so I got really excited about this when i moved in about 4 weeks ago sadly though I struggled with finding a place to permanently grow them so for a while they were chillin on my on desk under desk lamps (a 23w CFL and a 50w halogen). I planted them in standard 4 inch terracotta pots, which i filled with, what could be worse...

yea so i'm assuming that was a big no no but oh well and i haven't been using any nutrients cause it says it's got plant food in it...maybe when i transplant the females out i should rethink my whole soil situation? I don't have a ppm, ec, pH meter or anything like that, so i just let my water sit out for 24 hours to let the chlorine evaporate out (thats what i heard from a friend).
There are two strains in this batch. One is early girl, an outdoor strain by nirvana that i got a year ago when i thought i was gonna grow outside (that was a bust lol). I've got those 4 sitting in the back of the cubby and at the front are 'grassleaf' which came free with it so i've got 3 of those as well.

and yup one of those doesn't have anything in it. that was a bag seed that i had and i tried to germanate this past week but i think it's failed.

anyways yea i have these guys in a little cabinent/drawer space thats kinda built in to the room

so yea now i have a light fixture thats a 3 light vanity fixture that i put some y sockets in and now it has 4 23w and 2 46w

it's pretty bright and i'm hoping with a scrog later after i tie these guys up i'll have an okay harvest with this light. As you can see right now i lack an even canopy. The early girls generally grew way faster and now look

as you can see they're stretching pretty bad. Is that from lack of light? I'm pretty sure that the desk lamps i was using earlier were really inadequate, but next time i'll just sprout under my new cfl fixture. Also, i've been having some issues with some leaves not really sure what it means but have a look

so i think i'm gonna go out today and get a fan and some mylar and make myself a reflector outta cardboard and mylar (should be kinda fun) and line the inside of that thing with mylar to get those watts working for me. So they're all about 3 weeks old at this point and most peoples plants look a little bigger at this point so...yea they might be stunted. I don't feel comfortable lowering the fixture at all until i get the box better ventilated unless those burns are caused by something else... Anyways any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll have pics up of new happenings soon.
