I'm writing this update for myself and others, talking about.. if anyone wants to add their experiences with top shooter, please do!
"Top Shooter liquid by H&G".....
-Im approaching week 9 and have been using it at like half strength and every other feed (very conservative with it) and things are definitely happening immediately which is awesome to watch in real time. Within one week, they have chunked up to almost double their size (pics are deceiving).

-While that is all good, I feel its pulling too much juice from itself into the buds at an disproportionate rate. Some of the stems in the back have flopped over and laying on net and I dont believe its bc the colas got THAT much larger. It's worth buying but it definitely has a learning curve to it...heres a shitty hospital pic to show the chunky and the area that flopped over. Like a while section flopped over completely
Buds getting too heavy. Ive been using shooting powder, get the same thing. Og's and their vine stems cant hold those monster buds.

I'm going to wake up tomorrow to half my plant laying on the scrog net. I have mixed feelings about this situation lol, seriously tho. Next time, I will wait a little longer till I use top shooter liquid. The shit is aggressive. I think they reccomend week starting it at week 7 is because there needs to be plenty of healthy fan leaves for it to really work the way its designed. I cant imagine it working well if you do the shwazze defoliation method. But that's just my bro science based off what I've witnessed for 1.5 weeks minimum. This info is bullet proof

Week 9 of flower. I just started checking trichs yesterday. I'm thinking of milking her for a couple more weeks. Also, someone mentioned in a thread that top shooter raises your yield but decreases potency because it just adds more surface area to the buds without the beloved trichs. I wondered about this myself before I started using it. Seems plausible. Wrong! I think these are the stickiest buds yet. There's not much for sugar leaf but the trichs are flooded where it counts. I'm very impressed with top shooter. Heres some pics without the flash.

Ive tested 27.8 using it and another time 23. something. Not sure if thats low for you or you were not talking thc. I can show those lab results if you need.
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I was referring to a theory I read on someone's blog that said top shooter lowers potency bc "there's more space between the trichs" as they stated. I was saying I disagreed with that theory after using it for a couple weeks. Seems like they are frostier than ever. I known frost doesn't equal potency, but it's a good general sign. But i havent gotten my bud tested yet. So are you saying that you believe top shooter does lower potency a little? If so, do you think the added yield justifies that lower thc? Thanks for chiming in on this

Im saying no. But I'm using shooting powder (same thing I think).
Ah gatchya. I was reading it wrong. I thought you were saying once you started using top shooter, your thc % went down from 28% to 23%. And no, I dont consider that low potency at all. Anything above 15% thc is good to me as long as it smokes good. I dont believe these claims that some strains are nearing 35% thc just bc its 2020 lol....but I could be wrong.

Holy #$%$*@*& shit, my run off was higher than my truncheon measures. I wonder if that's from the top shooter, or if I just didn't have enough runoff.

Beginning of week 11 of flower. This will hopefully be my best, slow dry/cure. Since starting growing again, I've really wanted to focus more on perfecting drying and curing, as I haven't really paid attention to that very much in the past. With this humid summer, I don't think I'll have any issues with slow drying

It was harvest day. This is the best harvest I've had to this date. In both terms of quality and yield. Some purple hues came out this time making the buds look freaking gorgeous. The smell was overwhelming (very pleasant), so I'm using my tent to do a slow hang dry for first time. If you have any tips about drying in a tent let me know, such as slowing down the exchange of air (inline fan adjustment). The passive intake air flow seems to be keeping the air moving enough to not need any fan in there.

I think I'm going to pick up a white skunk clone next weekend. Hopefully they are still selling the same pheno as the one I grew out. If given the space, I cant imagine what the yield would look like under a 600 watt hps in it's own 4x4 tent. Happy growing folks.

Mostly everything has been jarred finally. I still have 2 turkey bags of to go through a do a final manicure and then jar. But here are some more pics. The pic with the buds 4 buds laying next to each other is just a pic showing the difference from each harvest of Adam's OG...in order from the first adams og crop to this recent one. I'll take a final pick once I get the rest of the buds in their jars

And then here are some badass lights I found at menards for 7 bucks. They are so freaking awesome. They are extremely powerful and its magnetic so you can move them around really easily or out them anywhere. Stoked on these. They are also motion detectable. Amazing for 7 bucks

I needed to air out all my buds today and check em out, and took pics. Also, I put my most recent harvest back into the turkey bags, so everything else not in turkey bags is from previous harvests. Cant complain when the cup overfloweth :). Its time for a break and then some different strains
