co2 is not needed at night as the plants are not using photosynthesis . try using larger holes put above plants or by a fan, it doesnt need to be under so much preasure but co2 is heavier than ai so if not under preasure falls to the floor !!

The only problem I have is that Im only getting a little layer of bubble not as much as I expected. I put ALOT of yeast and ALOT of sugar....lot more sugar tho so wtf. But i guess its still working. I cut a hole on the side, and put it in back of the fan so its pumped out...I just stir it from the top.

i wanna share a little secrect with you about co2. This is what i do. 4 long air stone and a pump to move the co2/yeast around. I have a 10 gallon tub from home depot for 7 bucks. I mix up the content in the tub. Throw the air sone and pump and let it run. I have a hose on the top of my tub that is a 3/4 hose attached to the back of my recirculing fan. The air sone and the pump keeps the mixture moving to produce the co2. it last for about 3 weeks. i dont have a co02 meter but my girls are fat with nice crystals and they seem to love it. just my 2 cents.

Question here about the CO2. I have used the DIY Generator. Ive spent about 50 bucks in the last 4 months on yeast, molases, sugar, tubing and glue. I broke down won a $40 regulator on ebay and purchased a 20lb CO2 tank full($90 bucks) on craigslist. Im about to start a new 4x4 tent grow. I have 600 watt light. I see that I am supposed to have the temperature in the grow tent higher now? is that correct? Also, I do that on timed cycles which I will read up on. My second question is do I turn off the inline fan during that time when the CO2 releases? intermitten.

Alternatively, if you are into brewing your own beer/wine at home, you can run a blow off tube from your fermenters into your grow space.
Yeah if you can keep that space at 62 degrees for 2 solid weeks. This is a very inconsistent way to produce Co2. Sure it will produce it but it isn't by any means linear.

great guide. I was looking for a way to boost CO2 in my grow cubby and this could be perfect. Have put rather large holes in the lid of my bottle to prevent an explosion!
Do you recomend taking the bottle out whent he lights are off?

Good question. It continues to spray out, so should it be removed during dark hours? Or should it be left in to keep the co2 built up.
