Adivce needed !

Alright, i want to make marijuanna chocolates, but i have a ton of specific questions i need answered. So im sorry if they are jumbled or confusing but here they come.

So these chocolates are going to be made with qwiso oil, so i suppose what i need to know is, how can i make qwiso oil edible and how do i incorporate it into a chocolate?

Also, i am a heavy smoker, i find that i have a high tolerance compared to most others. So i really want to know exact amounts (well, estimates because you guys arent me haha) of what i need to put into each dose. I have heavy experience with bho oil and qwiso oil in the sense of smoking it. But not a large amount eating it. So as a dosage, i would like one chocolate to give a nice solid buzz and a second to give an intense high. Ive heard that a 100-150mg oral dose of oil will provide a strong high. So can i assume a modest 75mg per dose (planned 1 inch by 1 inch chocolate square) would after one dose give me a decent buzz and two doses resulting in a soaring high?

Another concern i have, will i only get an accurate dosage if i syringe a dose (assumed 75mg) into a single chocolate? Or is it accurate as well to put a a larger amount in a batch and trust it will be evenly spread throughout a sheet i would then cut into the right size after doing some math and figuring out how much oil per chocolate and such?

Im sure ill have more questions dreamnt up more questions before someone answers, so thank you in advance. I know they are specifc, but its hard to find exactly what you want without asking for exactly what you want. Thanks again everyone !

Sounds like a good place for you to start dose wise. Remember that 1g qwiso does not equal 1000mg thc. Prob more like 7-800. Someone correct me if im off there please.

having tried several forms of chocolate, and with bioavalibitly in mind here is what I suggest...

Decarb your qwiso in coconut oil at 250f till the bubbling slows or stops(experiment with this for different effects), check that skunkparm link for more info.

Take equal parts coconut oil, cocoa powder, and confectioners sugar. Stir sugar into the oil(after it's cooled some), then add cocoa to taste. Should be smooth and slighly runny. Then pour in molds(ice cube trays work great) and freeze 30min. Store in fridge after that. Or you could try to make a "bar" out of it on wax paper.

So, am i correct in saying. Whatever amount of qwiso i produce, i can add to my prefered amount of coconut oil, place in a double boiler and reach 121c, once the bubbles cease, remove from heat? Then i have some pyscho active edible oil? :D

Yep ;-)

Although a double boiler wont reach 121c without using something like veggie oil instead of water in the lower part. Be careful not to over fill doing that btw, have a grease fire on your hands really quick that way, hehe.

So you do your own with a double boiler and veggie oil?

And i mean i dont have to make my own chocolates right? haha its perfectly fine to just syringe into anything?

I wouldn't do that but have been told it works. I've seen fondue pots recommended. I actually use a pot with a good bottom and a candy thermometer. Been thinkin bout upgrading to a lab quality one tho.

And no you don't have to make chocolate. That "recipe" I gave you technically isn't chocolate btw, its just the best way to make the oil edible and keep very high concentration, as it's basically 1/3 infused oil. That is what I generally look for when deciding what to make for edibles, how much coconut oil I put in compared to other ingredients. Here is the post on that btw, not sure if I linked you before: https://www.rollitup.org/cooking-cannabis/768530-companion-cube-peanut-butter-bho.html

Also, I'm not sure what all is in them but I love these "Julie & Kate" edible things they sell here. They obv have a lot of some kind of oil or tincture in them, but also granola and healthy stuff, I think that helps a lot with uptake, esp because my diet is pretty unhealthy.

As far as injecting it, do you mean into something that is ready to eat? or into an existing recipie like cake or something? I'm not sure how the former would taste, I've tried syringes of str8 decarbed co2 oil and did not like the taste or consistency, if you wanna go that route maybe making tincture is better for you.

Things to think about: cooking on the stove. Temps can reach 450 degrees to 500 the boiling point of THC is around 300 325. After that THC evaporates and lessens in quality or even burn out completely . On the other side there is another kind of THC that is not as active it's a THC molecule with another atom attached essentially water molecule attached. To discard that molecule the temp of the butter / oil has to be over 200 degrees. That molecule breaks off and is evaporated. So you want to heat the substance to that level in between. I cook at 250 on the stove and never in direct heat always in a pot of water with another pot inside . I recommend always using a thermometer when cooking anything.
