My store just got the new formula. They have been advertising the stuff for months and months. Sensi A&B now requires 50 OZ per 100 gallons where I could use 30 ox with previous formula. Wasnt thrilled about that. They did add several items to the mix so it seems they are basically forcing you to buy their other products all of which I wasnt using before. Did the math though and it is still a reasonable $300 for 8 weeks of full strength A&B, Big Bud and Overdrive.

Does what it says, no need to touch your res with a PPM meter, PH meter or adjust your PH EVER !! It doesnt change the actual PH of your water but rather makes the nutrients available in a huge PH range like 4 - 8.5 :o Was using their previous blend and had GREAT results with it. I had some Fruity Chronics that yielded me 4 times as much as my soiless version under same conditions, same container size (one gallon) I was also using Ebb and flow so a lot of it is probably due to that. Everything grew incredibly well without a single issue and it was my first ever ebb and flow run. Been doing soil less for 5 years and every single variety I changed over I got the same kind of results.

2 weeks in with new stuff and havent touched it with PH down or adjusted anything. The plants look VERY VERY good. First 36 hours after switching 12/12 most all my plants doubled in size and that was with only one light period ! Shocked the hell out of me honestly. :o Were only 5 inch plants to start but still....

Would also like to add I have been using the A&B Sensi Grow on all my mothers . Every single one I had issues with getting 100% healthy using GH, Pure Blend Pro, House and Garden and a few others are all now 100%. Really dark green and very lush with fast growth.

I know there are a lot of AN haters but that is my report. Makes things SO MUCH easier then before..........

I'm so darn happy to have found this review....been looking all over with a review that would tell me about pH PPM deal.

It sounds amazing, but you know, most people question things that sound too good to be true.

I was just talking on another board and I don't really have any problems with pH and PPM, but it never hurts to make sure that things stay under control.

Thanks for sharing this man. really, this is starting to talk me into trying it too. Wonder if it's at my local shop right now...or is it just something that you find online??

From one AN supporter to another, thanks for getting this out...the truth from an actual grower. I'm sure there are going to be some people who are going to rip on your review, but they probably haven't tried it. Which makes them just haters who aren't helpful to the rest of us who are focused on growing....

Personally I just hated adjusting the PH all the time. Now I dont have to ever worry about it. Prices are on par with other brands but theirs works better. Proof was in the putting for me.

Just make sure you are getting the new product line. It is 4ML per gallon on the label. If it has a chart or any other amount it is the older formula which isnt PH/PPM perfect.

where are you guys buying the new stuff from?

I live literally 10 miles from AN headquarters and can't find it anywhere in BC. As well the sales rep for the entire province hasn't even heard of ph-ppm perfect. and sent me an email to that effect.

Anyone selling it should have the new formula by now. Just make sure it is 4ML per liter on the Sensi A&B both grow and bloom. Their Overdrive is now twice as string so much cheaper to use then before and so is the Big Bud. Lots of places online selling it. Go to Advanced website should have lots of info on this new lineup. I think there is even a youtube video explaining it.

No idea what is funny about that but ok.... trying to share good info with fellow growers. If people arent interested in great yields without the hassle of messing with PH and PPMs thats their business. Yes it is out. Came with a little brochure describing it in detail. Call them if you dont believe me. This was actually slated for release about a year ago. Label on the bottle has totally changed along with the amount you put in.

Do you have a link to a site that has it? I have looked for it and cant find it. Just like everyone else I have been waiting forever for this shit to hit the shelves. I just talked to my local hydro shop yesterday and he said he hasnt heard anything about it.

Thank you

I feel your pain. I heard about it and bought some only to find out it hadnt come out yet  All you have to do to find out if they have the new formula is check the label and directions. If it is 4ML per liter it is the new formula. Lot of stores will sell their old inventory first though which stinks. Old formula had a feeding chart with different amounts for different PPMS you want to get now it is a flat 2 ML per liter nothing more nothing less.

You have to now use more A&B Sensi but it has some other products added to them now and its still reasonable. $39 per gallon aint too bad. I have been getting the 2.5 gallon for $79 to save a little. Everything else like Big Bud and Overdrive are now twice the concentration and only 2 ML per liter

I'm using the new formula with 2ozs of Quantum growth microrganisms(benefical microbes for your soil) I have cut back on all fertilizers and nutrients because of Quantums ability to fix nitrogen right out of the atmosphere. It has the properties to combat against non-benefical organisms in your soil promoting healthier soil which gives you healthier plants that are more resist to fungus and disease. You must try the quantum products the microbes will produce the sugar the plant needs ten times faster than the plant can itself and it hosts all the other organisms around the plant that relie on the plant for it source of food. The Quantum products work well in any set up from soil to soiless and mix well with all products on the market. Link to the product is Douglasspeed.com out of Ponte Vedra bch. FL.

Thanks for that info. Guess I will have to beg or bribe my hydro guy. I just bought sensi bloom too. Do you HAVE to use all of the AN additives for the ph-ppm to work properly?

Just make sure it says 4 ML per liter and you are set. You can use other additives no problem. Get the Big bud though no matter what else you use. That stuff works GREAT and is pretty much the only mid flower bud booster out there. The liquid is now 2 ML per liter. I actually get the powder though its a bit cheaper. I can get a 5 lbs for $250 and use 5 oz for a 100 gallon res.

heres a link to a poster explaining most of the stuff

Well, you guys may be able to find this in stores (I honestly dont know), but their isnt one online vendor carrying the new stuff yet *shrug*. And advanced nutrients hasnt made any official notice of releasing it.

So its still playing the waiting game for me :?

EDIT: Sorry if I seem kinda bummed, been reading about this for a year. Everything you guys have showed me on this page ive drooled over for the past few months atleast lol.

Yeah, we're still waiting for this out here, though I did get a chance to snag some from a friend for a test run. Totally awesome product, though I don't have a lot of pH or PPM problems anymore.

Maybe this is something that newer growers will be able to get ahead from the start of their growing career. I mean, if you don't have to worry about the pH or PPM, you can focus on making sure your grow room has a good setup. And then you can try out other techniques without worrying too much about screwing things up.

Wish I could find this out here :weed: We have the other Advanced Nutrients products (well, when they're not out of stock since they're so darn popular here....)

I was able to confirm with AN support by telephone
That the new ph-ppm perfect base nute are NOT available for sale
Anywhere in the world.

2 more months for the 2-part sesnsi or 3-part grow micro bloom
6-8 months for the conniseur line.

I asked if this had anything to do with vendors wanting to rid their old stock
And was told no, and that it was because they are working on getting labelling
And testing done in the states to approve the products

I then asked if that was the case why is it not released in canada
And was told simply because its is not in production yet

AN has a toll free support line, anyone may confirm this

Bizarre. They have totally new labels. Plus if I now add 50 OZ to a 100 gallon res as per instructions compared to the 30 oz the feeding calculator had on it for this exact line up previously. PLUS the big bud and Overdrive you use like half as much. Definetly a new formula I cant believe it still doesnt have this PPH perfect yet. Oh plus they were handing out new PPM/PH perfect brochures to my store for their lineup. All I can say then is the stuff works amazingly well with no PH adjustments at all. Guess I better get back in there and adjust my PH again.....

I’m cautiously optimistic on this. It’s like this, every company wants you to think their stuff is awesome. Advanced Nutrients is no different in that way. Do the exaggerate? Sure but no more than anyone else. So if you take what they say as X and what you see when you use their nutes as Y and apply the difference to what they’re saying about the pH/ppm stuff it should be pretty friggin cool.

You can’t look at advertising and think it tells the truth or you’re one of those people that think Scrubbing Bubbles is gonna zoom all over your tub, clean it to sparkling, and then vanish down the drain. It’s advertising, it sensationalizes. But in my opinion at least, Advanced Nutrients is closer to the truth than a lot ads so when they say it’s a perfect 10 I usually call it a 9.
