I just bought 3 Advanced Nutrients products: Micro, Grow and Bloom. i bought them because the price was good (26$ for all three) and i have no way of getting fox farm nutes.

so i gotta ask, are these any good for growing in soil?

yeh, typically it would be used for hydro, so I'm not sure about using it for soil. If you dillute first and water regularly I don't see why not. However in my past outdoor grows I have always used a liquid fertilizer like 'charley carp' or 'seasol' or soaked-dilluted chook shit and some slow release pellets.

Advance like most nute makers makes nutes specificly for hydro or soil. You buy the kind for your growing method if in dirt buy the soil nutes if hydro use the hydro nutes. The mix and consintrations are different so make sure you get the right kind for your grow. Are these 1 qt bottles you got? You buy locally.kinda cheap for advance nutes.

yes they are 1 qt. it doesn't say if it's for hydro or soil though.

oh ok, i was reading through some of their other products and they all seem to have that same generic product description. so i wasn't sure if they were just comparing to general hydroponics. I think i'll stick with them though, it was a good deal and they seem to be good nutes. i'll just use very little to begin with and slowly up the dose. thanks for the help

i am currently using advanced nutrients iguana juice grow and bloom in soil. they are working fine for me. however i do only use about one third of what it suggests on the label. so far i have not encountered any ph problems or nute burn. i would check the ph of your water after you mix it.
