I am not sure what you mean by the post. You are going to improve it by adding cross flow inside the box? Or a second exhaust?

Are you asking for other ideas to improve?

Edit: It would be bad-ass to make it mobile by attaching it to the fork lift.. Just saying.

Improve the box in general its styrofoam so the room for example with being able to move lights around atm the box is ghetto I say look atmy grow journal if u need more pics

for 79$ shipped to your door... buy yourself a mars hydro 300 from amazon..

Then buy some autoflower seeds... do 1 at a time in a 5 gallon smart or airpot..

You'll easily get a plant thats 2-3 feet tall and give you a dry weight of 1.5-2 oz.

You can do all that with one light instead of cfl's.

I basically have the same grow room as you.. I built my closet by using those foam insulation boards then painting the woodwork flat white.

You could do 2 plants in 3 gallon containers under mars 300 in there and get yourself close to 4 oz's.

With a mars 300 you could take out all those cfl's and get the plant much much bigger.. I'm actually kinda shocked how small it is with all those cfl's

Speaking of flift no need its super light but the stand its on will allow it to do so

1: I see you are using a 10"? fan pointed at the intake. Can the lone one CPU fan hold a piece of paper to the intake? If you double the CPU fans (series) it'll increase static pressure. Or add another exhaust & top fan next to it (parallel) to double the air flow. Also check the specs of fans! I don't see any filtration for smells, so if it isn't a concern, go parallel. If you plan on having one, series. Unless you don't mind diy'n 2 carbon filters. Shoot do series and parallel then!

2a: Instead of the intake on lower side, why not underneath? Using (Google it) "white egg crate styrene lighting panel" as floor support. Best part is, comes in 4'x2'.

2b: Build up on that light trap a bit.

3: Besides the legs, base and hanging rod, is there no actual support for the sides or back? Literally just foam? Can you "beef up" your structure?

4: Your plugged into a gfci outlet? If not they do make inline gfci plugs. Recommended.

Edit: Poor plant, goes from being half dead to a forced reading of world geography. lol

The PC fan that I was talking about would be another exhaust fan pushing air out and would be half way meaning 3 feet up out of the 6 feet offered and would be on the left wall

I'm totally confused on what u mean man on all of it really.. Besides yes I could and would love to beef it up but how and the issue one of the reason I posted this im unsure of a way to build up the lights better and I feel that the one hanging bar doesn't give me the flexibility that I need and want to be able to hang lights anywhere I want which u can tell everything is relying on the light fixture to hang which isn't the even letting me place the lights like I want... And the two lights in the back are held up with small metal staple things same with the single light in the front I know I'm using more power then I am getting worth out of it.. Which is the main goal along with making everything organized and neat so nothing is in the way nor looks like shit excuse mt language i am just disappointed in myself for this to come out so ghetto after all the years of research and waiting to be able to begin myself so please help me turn this monster into a beast.. Again if needed check out my grow journal to see a bit more pictures that I don't have nor want to post again in this horrible phone (half the screen bottom half I cant see anything it's black so cant see keyboard ECT but thanks for sticking around and reading all my nonsense thank you and please help me turn this into the first box I have wanted to years to start with

Oh ok... well good job bringing her back to life... I would highly suggest to you getting a couple autoflowers or if you want get yourself some photo female strains.

If you want to get clones and you can get them by all means go ahead..

I dont have access to clones so I use the site the single seed centre.. (amazing seedbank with good caring people.. flat rate shipping too , none of that "stealth" up charge shipping bullshit"

If I was to 100% start over and had never grown a plant I would have done this for my first ever grow.

Buy a mars 300

Buy fox farm trio (grow big , big bloom , tiger bloom)

buy Nirvana Jock Horror Auto

Grow in 5 gallons of fox farm ocean forest soil cut with 30% perlite (fox farm big n chunky perlite)

that whole setup .. nutes, seeds, light, soil, perlite would be less than 150$ ... after that you could grow 1-2 plants at a time for the cost of a seed (good brand seeds are 10-15 bucks a piece though you can find deals like nirvana jock horror auto)

That jock horror auto is northern lights x mexican sativa x skunk #1 and ruderalis (prob lowryder) I have grown it before and it is truly fantastic smoke.

Other brands that are top notch are reserva privada and world of seeds northern lights x big bud.

good luck to you and keep growin... If I can grow a plant from seed to harvest and get good nugs then anyone can.

Here is my auto seeds transiberian auto flower... she is getting close.

Lemme change what I said up a bit..

Since you seem to be going the DIY route.

1: Your single muffin exhaust fan seems inadequate for the box. Removing stale air and/or heat.

Two details to pay attention to with the muffin fans are SP and AF/CFM. "SP"(static pressure) can pull air through tighter openings, like a radiator or carbon filter. "AF"(air flow/high cfm) is good for moving a large volume of air.
If you plan on a carbon filter, high static pressure is your friend. If your not worried about smells a second muffin fan/exhaust hole will help move more air out.

Overall, a TD-100 is my recommendation.

2: If you make holes on the floor, the crate styrene will help as support. Using either a short bend of ducting or 90° pvc to build a better light trap.

3: If you can not build an external frame.. Maybe an internal one? Using 3/4" PVC" build a rectangle frame that fits inside, may have to assemble it inside. You can use T's (3ways) on across the top for more hanging bars. If you go this route, you can rest the styrene floor on the PVC.

4: GFCI because.. GFCI
A simple inline gfci is roughly 25$ @ the Depot.

:blsmoke::confused:Whats "Muffin Fan" exactly:?: Also I have another little fan similar to that one but not exactly the same like I said was going to put it on the side wall half way to the top, is this not a good idea? Should I just go with what u said basically cutting another square next to the one on the roof so they would be side by side? only shitty part I wouldn't like about that would be the one is centered so the second would be randomly off to one or the other side of the box but ehh not a big issue this box is just a temporary box. I'm just collecting and getting the items/products for the real box that I get soon. I'm not sure if I wanna get a Tent or buy/build a stealth grow box. I'm thinking of going for the dimensions of 3x3x? or smaller. I have my eyes set on 2 combos/kits Apollo horticulture 400w hps, mh glass cooled reflector I believe its called. also a inline fan, duct, carbon filter combo/kit to make it the two combos/kits that I'm looking into getting. Great prices on ebay. 116.99$ and 79.99$. Right away I guess I should say once I get that kit ill probably put the carbon filter on this temp box but then again I might not I might just keep it aside for when I get a tent or make a stealth box. Due to currently I have two "muffin fans" as u were calling them lol. I done some research on the mars series(300w, 600w). Keep hearing they are "Blurple"(not worth the money and don't provide as much of the correct spectrums and they claim to or should say make certain "colors or sides of spectrum" sound beneficial but really the plant wont and doesn't use them it wont even penetrate into the plant. Mind you this is all research that I have done, I'm still unsure and pretty newbish (noobish) with lights, fans, carbon filter, and using and setting up duct. ive done a lot of research over years and years on growing and reading grows and shit but never got the info to stick with the topics I named above I guess u could say probably because I wasn't growing yet. besides a few plants which I grew in a regular pc tower (not the tall ones made for growing or around that size). Lol but u was successful and grew one plant in it with just 1-2 cfls and 2 pc fans lmfao. Each time came to males tho -_-. Back to the temp box project with the pvc I think that would be genius because I don't like the fact of not being about to clamp or hang shit without poking perm. holes everywhere :P. would I want to get it in certain cuts to make it fit or just get 4 T's and like 24'-25' feet of 3/4" PVC. How can I buff up my light set-up because I am losing a lot of light going up just the other day was driving me nuts where I just threw strip of foil laying on the bulbs on each side (3x2) also I added a extra bulb I had laying around which is just a 13w spiral u threw it hanging right infront of the door which basically added some light to the one side that didn't have a bulb there or pointing to the plant. Probably thinking about the foil ya? lol ill take a pic during day (light) time for the plant. its not getting hot spots or anything because the fans are making it bounce off the bulbs periodically but keeping a lot more of the light down on the plant *WOOHOO* ;).. Just looked up the TD-100.. ive never seen a inline fan like that before I guess ive just seen the original ones? (example: 2" 4" 6" inline duct fan. also looking at the TD100 I didn't see anything in the descript about the 2 different types SP and AF/CFM does that only have to do with "muffin fans" (which I'm still kinda confused and never heard of). GFCI is?? I'm sorry I'm still kinda dull to the slang once u say/show ill laugh and feel like a dumb ass that I didn't snap or know the term for it xD gtg wish had some more time and sorry to write a book was trying to go fast:wall:. Kinda was jumping all over aswell too:spew: my bad for that kinda stoned :blsmoke: Gnight TTYS Thanks a bunch for all the help and thanks for reading and sticking around!! Don't forget to check out my grow journal thread as well if interested. Hopefully soon get a job so I can get those two kits and do a grow or two with it before buying my tent or building my stealth box but who knows probably will all come at once due to the anticipation cant fucking wait anymore been waiting for fucking years!! :fire::weed:
