hic, I originally posted this in order to get advice on how my previous card holder status would affect a judgement from a MI doctor. This is not a commonly asked question as far as I could find. I also stated that I would prefer to drive there and skip the whole b/s. Maybe you don't realize this, but I am born and raised in a medical state, and this is quite a "culture shock" to me. The police here are not NEARLY as understanding or forgiving about it. It's easy to say "stfu and grow", but WHERE!? I live in a fuckin highrise, bro. If I could, I would, and I wouldn't be here asking this. I'm not stupid. I know my options. My original clearly outlined my situation. 3 pages later, I'm gettin flamed like I'M the asshole, and my questions really haven't been answered. I think you need to medicate n chill bro.

ppl here in MI are sketchy about being non-compliant. Yes, I can understand your culture shock. Other states have it worse, but the mid-west, in general, is still uptight about medicinals.. You mean to tell me that you had no clue about this before you moved to these parts? yes, unfortunately ("don't fight the wind") prices can easily hit five hundo/ onion where you have a window with a view. out-of-state wholesale...? I'd stick w/ honey and not a hammer.. All that jazz. peace

I believe your question was answered. Get a MI residency, take your old cali paperwork to a doctor, talk to him about your ailments, submit paperwork/payment to state, wait 3 weeks, if no negative reply you are good to roll. Hurry tho, wait too long and it may not be that easy.

If your Cali card is still valid then it's good in Michigan and you can go to a dispensary here. If not then you actually have to be a resident of Michigan to get a card here. Hope that helps.

From what I've read and understand(about the new bills), my take on it is this. The state could care less about MMJ Patients or it's laws. They want the crooked cash that lines their pockets not the states. They don't care that less patients will be on the program, cause alcohol sales will go back up, other drug use will go back up, imported(by the gov) black market pot will start selling again. The 2 year renewal thing is just smoke and mirrors, wether they want $100 or $200 it doesn't matter, they are set to destroy our laws and silence our vote. Why would they do this? Cause that's the american way~ the rich get richer and the poor get fuc'd over. It wouldn't matter if the MMJ law of 2008 passed with 94% voter approval and it wouldn't matter if it was a better defined law from the start. The pigs(not reffering to cops) only care about the slop they roll in and they prefer it to be green. Just a different kinda green then we like to roll!
