Ok I am going to do a test grow with one plant in a party cup from start to finish with
68 watts. I don't know if thats enough but I got a 75 watt lamp beside my couch but it's not florescent or anything. I got some soil that I put in a container I few months back that was ground soil mixed up with veggies and shit all composting. Grabbed some excess soil from it and filled up a party cup. Don't know if it gots bugs. I'm sure it does. So what do ya think?:eyesmoke:

Also how do you get CFL lamps with just the bulb and the thing you screw the bulb into, instead of the whole lamp. I'm looking at buying a 200 watt Cfl bulb and don't know if regular lamps will hold that much wattage.

Actually I'm hoping for a quarter or maybe just a dime. I'm not gonna seriously go big or anything to I move to a better place. For nutirents I want to go with Pura Vida grow and bloom. As I heard good things about it. If I get this going successfully I will take a pic of it during stages of flowering. The soil looks real good. It is mostly composted thingies.

Hey Turtlehermit, you can go to Walmart for CFLs up to 150watts and go to Home Depot to get some light adapters and a 8-plug power strip. I screw the CFL bulb into the adapter and then plug the adapter into the power strip. Hang the power strip and now you have lights.

You always want to use fresh soil when you grow. All these cheap growers trying to cut corners are making it hard for newbies to see that they really need to spend money and effort when they start growin.

Save up and get some good nutes and some good soil. Ive been usin advanced nutrients for a while now and they're the bomb. Sure, get your lights at WalMart, but don't get your nutes from the hardware store.

you need to spend money to grow weed thats worth smokin.

Oh yeeah. This isn't my first time growing. I done outdoor before. So I know how to read my plants pretty well. The whole plant growing thing, I'm good at. Its the whole room set up and things needed in indoor that confuses me. However I am a complete newb to indoor setups. On my outdoor grow I switched over my nutes and went ahead and bought a Advanced Nutrients bloom product and after about 3 weeks I noticed the better results. So I know they got good nutes. Atleast the bottle I chose was alright. I would love to know how to set up a grow room. Good shit.
