So i have 3 plants outside in pots. I have each pot on top of sand to keep slugs away. I noticed a few days ago the roots were coming out of my drains holes and growing into the sand, and possibly the ground. I noticed it when i lifted the pots, it hear some ripping sound and looked. So i just set everything back down and watered them and left. I went back a day or two after and things seem fine no damage done.

Now here is my real problem/question.
My grow is guerrila and Im having doubts about my spot. I found an indication of someone being around about half a kilometer away from my site. So im pondering moving them.. but what if the roots have gone back in the ground by now? will it be significant at this point do you think? i know roots can grow pretty quick. I can say that the roots that are coming out are very thin and not the big main roots. But one pot has a nice mass of roots underneath it now.

sorry if this is at all confusing, thank you for reading and thank you more for replying any advice.
