New to aero cloning... on 11-10-14 I took 12 THC Bomb clones... 10 gal res RO, 5ml Root Excel, 25ml Mad Farmer B-1, 25ml Silica. PH balanced to 5.9 PPM 200 Water Temp 20.3 C
Room Temp D:72-75 F N: 67 - 70 RH 30 - 40%
Nice Cut.JPG 11-6-14 Clones Taken.JPG

Testing PH twice a day as well as water temp... PH 5.7 - 6.0 and Temp 20 - 21 C... all was going good...
UNTIL!!!
Day 8 I start to see this on 4 of the 12 clones and my leafs are looking droopy...
11-19-14 WTF!.JPG 11-19-14.JPG

Still no white nubbs on stems but no steams are mushy or weak...
ANY help would GREATLY appreciated!

Yep I used to buy clonex and all that shit but just plain tap water
works the best in my mind as well

you can ph it lightly to like 5.8-6.0 but it is not necessary

also as long as your hard water
doesnt contain anything bad (which it probably doesn't)
then think of the small amout off minerals and ppms to be like "baby food" lol

The timer is up to you I had mine run 24/7 and my fastest root nubs were in a lil under 4days:)

plus I think timers can sometimes "hurt" pumps

like starting your car alot in my mind

never thought of it like that but totally makes sense... used to deliver pizza's... tore my starter up! Just finished water drain... quick tap water rinse and wipe out... filled with tap... and timer removed! 24/7 it is :-)

Again Thanks for the help guys. Did not want to loose my cuts and have to wait another week or so to re-clone.

If you can kinda following thumps method but in a cheap diy way that you might have already

lookup h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide) and give them a mild treatment

thumps right you

you might as well get rid of the slime before it pisses you off
:)

Oh I trimmed the steams on all the cuts showing any signs of slimmy residue.. I have typical 3% H2o2 can I use that? How much per 5 Gallon would you say is a mild treatment?

Yes you can but the mixture escapes me because I haven't done it in years lol

just google it im sure you can find it I just dont wana give you
"Half baked info " haha feel me

edit im sure 5 to 10 mls per gallon wont hurt anything im just unsure if MOREis needed cause h2o2 at 3 % is pretty gentle. Just dont get that shit in your eye lol

Sprouting Seeds: add 30ml 3% H2O2 to 1 pint of water. Soak the seeds overnight.
Insecticide Spray: combine 250ml 3% H2O2 to 1 gallon spray mix.
Fast growing container plants: add 30ml of 3% H2O2 to 1 gallon water.
Hydroponics: apply 3% H2O2 at a rate of 30ml/gallon to the nutrient reservoir.

Found that on the 420Mag forums... does that sound about right? Went ahead and did a light 10ml per gallon mix to cloner.....

Should I run H2o2 on a reg in my Aero systems? I would go buy some 30% @ the hydro store if it will be beneficial for me in the future with my Aero bucket system.. I have a huge air pump so I dont think I really need the added oxygen but I really have no idea..
After cloning I run Root Excel and Floralicious Plus and dose w Great White every other water change.. would H2o2 kill off those bacteria? Read that the "dark stinky stuff" gets effected by H2o2.. didnt seem very scientific so thought I'd ask.

Yes if your paying to add beneficial bacteria thens its kinda counter productive lol

as long as your res doesnt get a foul odor or root rot You'll be fine

also be carful as I think 30% can cause chemical burns

also the mix chart you found looks good remember it never hurts to start weak and build up
