Aero/Hydro Gravity Grow: Tangerine Dream/G13 x Haze/Cinderella 99/Pineapple Chunk

Nice :)
Yeah it's mostly fun but when disease, fungus etc. sets in it can be heart wrenching to have to kill plants off!

We're still working on the setup, should be finished today if we can put it all together without any issues.
By tonight we should have an update, wether that is just to show the mess or a clean setup ;)

Well, it's not going to be the second one :(

We have a lot of work to do and we cannot get it done by tonight, mostly because the parts we got were German and are pretty much useless, and since we don't have a Walmart we cannot get the items we need.
We have ordered them from a Danish company and hopefully they will do a speedy ass delivery because we need it now!

I took some pictures so you can see the progress and changes.
The flowering room looks like crap atm, no link up to water (have to manually water atm) and things are messy.

I'm hoping we can bring the final clean update friday (if we get the gear by then).
1-2 days delivery is normal in Denmark.

Pictures of the mother room:

We have not taken any pictures of the flowering room, there is a lot of stuff in there and it's a mess.
Hopefully we can make a proper update on friday :joint:

how does the circulation of the water work in the flowering room? once the sprayers shooot it out, it collects in that bin? how high will that water level be set at and will excess drain into your rez outside the room?

just trying to figure out how its gunna run :) lookin good guys!

The circulation will be setup so that a small pool of water collects in the bottom, we need to fine tune our timers.
We have timers on everything from pumps to air etc.
The timer on the water pump in the flowering room is set to pump out water 8 times a day for two minutes atm.
This figure will probably change.

We do not think any drainage will be needed as the water will get sucked up by the plants.
Most of the G13s have roots going all the way down to the bottom of the bucket.
We just need to time it well, figure out how much water the sprayers can emit per minute.

Thanks for the interest mate ;)

We now have a double four hose system giving eight extensions. One hose for each plant.
We're still waiting for the last sprayers so we can install them properly.

We've also set the timer for the watering to only 1 minute, changed from 2.
The buckets have filled up a bit already.

We've also decided not to use a scrog on these plants.
We're gonna use it on our next grow, which will be done with clones. Not damaged plants (as now).
We just want them to grow fast, so we can start cultivating clones from our mothers.
Our Pineapple Chunk is getting tall, we need to move fast.

Picture update !

Our new setup for the flowering room is now ready and working! :D
We've been working hard to make it perfect, and as easy to use as possible.

We've taken a lot of great pictures for this update.
Hope you like it and we would love to hear what you think about it :joint:

The mothers

All of them, except the C99, are ready for cloning.
But we still have plants in our flowering room that we use as testplants, so we know for sure that our setup is as great as we think it is :weed:
So the cloning has to wait, even though we're about to run out of space for our mothers.
We're doing stresstraining on the PC so it won't get burned by the lamp.

First we have an overall look of the mothers with G13 in front, TD (Penny) to the right, the PC is behind the G13 but you can see the buds above it, and the C99 is hidden behind them:

The G13 x Haze:

The Tangerine Dream (Penny):

The Pineapple Chunk:

The Cinderella 99:

Here's the top bud of the G13 up close:

The pistils on the G13 are looking awesome!
First picture is of those at the bottom of the plant:

This is of those at the top:

The leaves on the G13 have a healthy look:

The flowering room

Our plants in this room has been through a lot, but they are getting a lot better again now with the new setup.
We can already see the changes for the better.

Here's an overall look:

And the pistils from one of the three G13's we have in the room:

The hoses are connected with 3 reduction fittings so we can use the sprayers with the small 6mm hoses that goes in on each side of the buckets.

And the hoses then goes through the holes in the bucket.
And we've made sure that the sprayer inside the bucket is pointing towards the roots of course :)

Here you can see the misting of the roots (The misting is only on for 1 minut every 3 hours until we find the sweet spot):

The roots of the plants in the flowering room:

One of the plants which went through the nutrient lockout is showing great recovery, the other one is close behind.
You can still see some of the effects the old nutes had, which left clumps on our roots:

Outside the rooms (where the water tank for the flowering room is placed - kept cool and out of the light) we've also placed a fan that helps ventilate the flowering room:

And we've switched the mother rooms water tank for a larger one, and added 2 extra airstones:

Time for a joint ... :joint:

Cheers mate :D

Aye the progress has been really huge by just switching nutes.
The plants have really bounced back, all of them are showing amazing root growth.
I think we're hitting the timing on feeding pretty well but it's hard to tell still since we just got this setup today.

We're still searching for a timer that can time feeding in seconds and at least 20 times (20 programs).
They are hard to find though ^^

We're very happy the setup is functioning and that we've saved pretty much every plant from certain death :joint:

timers get pricey when you start talking bout tiny increments. i use cheap hourly or 1/2hourly timers cuz its just for lights and i grow in soil. simple shit fo me :p

We're so happy that it's up and running, and the positive progress we've had the last few days.
And as k0ijn said, we've saved pretty much every plant :leaf: Such a relief!
It had me scared for a couple of days...

Yeah, you're right about that, but it's gonna be money well spent :D

Hehe yeah it gets really pricey when we talk about seconds timers ^^
I'd wish I only had to use half hourly timers :D

We will let you know :D
I'm assuming around that price ye :(

@ bigbean:

The plants aren't that old yet, 2 months old in the mother room mostly and 1.5 months in the flowering room.
Some of the plants have been flowering for 1-2 weeks but they were damaged (due to nutrient problems) and moved around.
We are going to test the plants in the flowering atm, it's not a 'real' grow with all strains represented nor proper clones.

Thanks for commenting mate, we very much appreciate it.
And it's our luck you only had positive things to say ;)
We're very much looking forward to taste all four strains.
My personal favorite is the G13, but that's only judging by looks.
Maybe the taste is another story :)
We'll have to wait and see, but we will for sure let you know what we think as soon as we got that good dank in a jar! :weed:

It's going really well with the sprayers atm.
We're still trying to find a better timer though :joint:
