Aero pumps -- can I do with 15 mins segments?

Hi,

I am assembling SB system. The last part I haven't got is a Recycle Timer; they just cannot be got in Europe.

My goal is to go 4 mins Off and 1 On. But for now I might have to settle for 15 mins OFF and 15 mins ON. I know it's really frustrating, but will it actually grow with such time spacing?

Too long have I been gathering the parts, need to start the grow ASAP..

Hi guys, sorry for the delayed reply, but I received no notifications, had no idea someone did reply to the thread. SB means StinkBud. I am assembling StinkBud system. He recommends 4 OFF 1 ON. He did mention that he tried 15/15 also and it worked. So I just wanted to make sure, before I put it my €120 seeds, if ya know what I mean.

Anyway, you just need to search better. Look for 'cyclic second timers' for example or find the proper translation in your own language.

P.S. Ireland, means searching the Irish and British market.

Owwww :lol: based on your 'stone age' comments I thought you were somewhere in east europe or former Yugoslavia. Ireland is one of the better places to be in Europe imo. And at least it's English too, when I build my hydro setup I had to translate to dutch sometimes. Something I found out during my searches then is that people who keep reptiles use them too. Ah, that reminds me of:

Thanks, you have been truly helpful. I mean like yeah :), Ireland is one of the better places, but some certain things are a disaster to get here. For example PVC piping. OMG if you knew the hassle getting 1/2" PVC piping in here. I ended up ordering it from U.S.A. Or getting 4" PVC Fence Post, omg, it's like banging your head and smashing on the wall; they just can't be got here, also tried the Czech Republic, UK and Germany. I got them from USA, too.

Oh the fence posts... I've been looking for those for a while too. Closest thing I found was an expensive complete pvc fence.

I can get PVC pipes very easy though, any do-it-yourself store in NL has a PVC section, from large sewer to small drain pipes. I usually order online and have it delivered to my door: www.vijverstunt.nl (vijver means pond)

I ordered a manifold from the US and tried to find one that delivered net cups and sprayers too... yeah gathering all the pieces can be a challenge by itself.

I made the mistake of 30 minute on/off schedule,rotted my roots to hell,and killed off 3 perfectly healthy plants.
I had a "complete dickhead" moment lol.

Yeah, PVC is way more popular, advanced and diverse on the continent. Here they use just stupid Qualpex and fuck all fittings :). But I am almost set, just waiting for a bit of piping from America, and the time need to be got. Until then I'll be using 15 mins segments.
