AeroFlo2 18 site laser lines

Anyone use one of these or similar? Where should the laser lines be aimed? directly into the water ? sidewalls?

When you first start, water should hit bottom of of net pots to wet your medium. Once you have roots sticking out of pots, drop your water level to about 1.5 inches, and re-aim your lines to hit the sidewall right at the water level. This gives best aeration.
