so on my first grow i started with 4, and rooted the weak, the males, and the short, and ended up with just one baby. its alright because i got about 1/2 from her, which is plenty for me, im actually high off her right now. it worked well with what i did durring this time (since it was my first grow, i thought it would be cool to get some experience in soil as well, so what i did was took out one of the females and made her a mother plant for some clones that i took about a week ago. i guess now ill start by listing the components of my entire grow.

room: closet in my bedroom, its large enough, about 4*4*10 divided into 3 areas (clones)(mothers)(flowering)

lights: since i dont have a way of dealing with the amount of heat it would cause, i am using clfs-lots. i have 6 on in my flowering-2 in my cloning-and one for each of my four mothers. \

medium: clones are just in a plastic tub with rockwool and a clear lid that i bought at a hydro store-that i could have easily made-lol
mothers are in one gallon pots with regular potting soil
flowering-aerogarden and 2 pots. i just have two pots that i want to try to flower from, just to get the experience.

extras- ionic breeze for odor
fan for air circulation
reverse osmosis water
fox farm entire line of nutes

now to the new setup

so about a week ago i took 7 clones from one of my mothers, i also have 3 other mothers growing that are about 2 weeks old. and a clone i put directly into soil cause i was bored.
when those 7 clones have roots i am going to move them to the aerogarden and let them veg for one week with only water, and one week with a quarter nute strength, then i will flower after 2 weeks of veg.
hopefully this will allow for an acceptabe yield.

thats pretty much all i got for now, if anyone has anything that i missed, let me know, and questions or comments are greatly appreciated. thanks a lot for sharing this experience with me.

How difficult is it to transplant clones into the AeroGarden?

How difficult is it to remove the AG lighting if you don't know much about electronics?

What strain are you using and how effective was the Ionic Breeze at neutralizing your odors?

What size CFLs are you using?

what did u use for nutrients with the aerogarden? what would recommend for the amount of phosphorous potassium and nitrogen throughout growing with the aerogarden cuz it sounds like u were pretty successful to get a whole half off of one plant wit the aerogarden

So you didnt use the nutes that came with the aerogarden? Right now i am about to start a grow in the aerogarden and was hoping that the gourmet herb tabs would work.

I have attempted three grow cycles so far. The 1st one putting the seed in the grow plugs to allow them to germinate. Bad move. Only one plant made it. After five weeks it was looking great with two weeks in the flowering stage lights 12 hours on/off' Then one day i was adding water and the fan fell flipped to high and blew directly on the plant snapping it in half. The next try I germinated three seeds and put them in the Aerogarden. All three grew very well put all three where males. Crap!!! Well i recently bought some AK48 feminized seeds from Nirvana in Ansterdam. I germinated the five seeds using paper towels and placed all five seeds in five of the six grow plugs of the Aerogarden Elite 6. I am using their lights and have a 14-watt LED Blue/Red on each side. I have a 3' x 3' x 6' H Grow Box which i have the Aerogarden, fan, lights and a seperate pump i am using. So far after three weeks i have two plants that made it out of five. I must say they look extremely good. They are small and bushy with small nodes with alot of new leafs on every node. I am using Flora Nova Grow and Bloom for nutrients. I have the lights on the Vegetable setting which has the light set at 16 hours On and 8 hours OFF. When i go into the flowering stage i have a timer i use that allows me to go to a 12 hour ON/OFF light cycle. You have to start the flowering stage early as the lights only go so far and some strains take forever to flower. This time i am going to take the Aerogarden lights off when the plants start hitting the lights at there hightest range. I am going to use a 150 watt HPS light for the remainder of the grow. I will post pictures if anyone wants or even reads this post anymore? Peace out. Mike.

By grow plugs, do u mean the little pre-seeded pods that come with the kit? Ive germed with those fine. $10 seed kit from cvs/target/homedepot, I just take out the seeds that they come with, and either start from seed or clone. They making like 2 or 3 different versions of the little plug. They all basically work but i like the one thats a little longer, and sealed better.

With seeds, just make sure that plastic cover is on there till the seedling pops. then let it breathe.

With clones, root hormone, just make sure its in deep and tight.

My tap is around 300-330ppm, I just start 'em both with it till they need a feeding
