What beauties!!! :weed:
Have you topped them, per chance? I know that some people prefer not to top or do anything "unnatural" but topping/pruning is done all the time in farms/orchards.... not only controls the height a lot, but also makes 'em bushy and allows for more lower growth development and hence a larger yield per plant! I hated the idea of cutting down such beautiful plants at first, but was immediately glad I did. I can't imagine ever growing my ladies without topping them now. In case you've not read it yet: Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas.... The first post explains it all in enough detail to get what he's conveying; the hundreds of questions that follow are mostly unnecessary reads, IMNSHO.

I didn't top 'em this time. To be honest, I was afraid of messing them up and then when I got confident, it was a too late. But this the next grow, I'm going to for sure. Thanks, Kat!!

Hey guys,
So I just started my AeroGarden grow with bag seed a couple of weeks ago. I'm well versed in the ways of AeroGardens, (I've been reading Tek's and Korvettes grow journals and other popular threads for over a year...) but I have one question, and it's pretty silly. How often do you add the Fox Farm Nutrients to the reservoir? Once a week or every day? Thanks for the info, I appreciate the help!

It is a hydro setup, you add nutrients every time you change your res water. You don't selectively feed the plant, its in a nutrient solution already.

Guys quick question, I must change my light setting around a little, do to unpresented visitors stoping by, would they be all right if they get a 24 hrs darkness cycle?, I did notice that Sicc had a power outtage and his girls look great, man i got to stop burning so early in the am. it gets me all duh in the am.

well, if you are planning on putting them into flower soon, 24 hours of darkness is no problem, but I'd be hesitant to throw them back into anything other than 12/12 after that much darkness. Sicc was fine because he was already flowering. Any time the plant gets 12 or more hours of darkness it starts to go into flower.

they should be fine if you just started flowering, they need to be in a light prof area anyways

Hey everyone. I have been doing this Aerogarden thing for about a month or 2 now and I have taken every step there is to take to have a successful 1st grow. I followed the guide to a Tee! Everything is perfict except one minor thing. I started the flowering stage over 12 days ago and so far there is no sign of SEX, they just keep growing and getting bushy. I have my plants in a very dark room for 12 hours and when the lights are on for 12 hours im blasting them with over 8000 lumens of soft white CFL. Mind you i only have 3 plants, and u can see the size of them so that should be plenty of light. All that i have seen change is the color of the stems and stalk, turning a purpleish red. The one in the picture you see has 4 main cola stems. "I followed the topping tecnique." Can someone please give me some advice. :shock:Thanks

Some more pictures of my set up. and yes im using a mirror as a background. They work very well. I once grew some plants years ago in soil and i used a huge box i made coverd in mirrors. I had a great grow that summer. Good smoke. :joint:

The purple/red stems are nothing to worry about. The plants should show sex really soon, some plants just take a while. Looks like you are doing great man.

BTW:

Mirrors aren't generally used because of the amount of heat they absorb where mylar absorbs virtually no heat.
