aerogarden help!

i have 5 plants in my aerogarden they are growing well i know three of them are bubblegum my problem is iam a total novice!!!!and a bit thick.
i need to know when to add food and when to start budding then so they dont grow to big also people have talked about topping is this cutting the tops off?any help would be greatly acceptedkiss-ass.

To start the BLOOMING or FLOWERING stage, put the lights on 12/12. 12 hours LIGHT, 12 hours compelte Darkness.
Add food when you see 4 leaves, start with HALF of a normal dose or feeding. Weekly drain the water out and replinish.
Read up on DWC and on HYDRO.

thanks for that...but at what size do you do you start the 12/12 cycle as i say am a total novice but very willing to learn......

how do you drain the water out of the aerogarden?

You can start 12/12 anytime you want to.
In nature, in outdoors, plants are started in May when Spring arrives and the soil is warm. In late June or mid July, depending on where it is, the daylight hours shorten, and FLOWERING BEGINS. That is ten weeks for a plant to mature. In HYDRO, in doors, under 12/12 light, you cut that time in half to 5 weeks.
Most Hydro growers start at 5 weeks, IF they have the room.
The aerogarden that I saw is sort of cheap, small and rinky-dink and you might have to start 12/12 at a few inches, or you will not have enough room for HEIGHT GROWTH.
It's very difficult to grow SATIVA in a small space, it 's near impossible. I hope you have Indica seeds.

again thank you but it has all changed i had 5 seeds unsexed so i was given 5 cuttings off k2 all females so i scrapped the unsexed plants in favour off guaranteed females they have taken well,so when should i start flowering them? i have a ph wand and they have about 1.3 of nutes HELP !!!!!!!! i will post picks 28.10.08
