I was wondering if I could just put my aerogarden on the 24 hour cycle and hold the lights button to program it to turn off at 7 cause In the manual book it says that the aerogarden turns back on automatically after 12 hours. would this work?:bigjoint:

thats exactly what I want. Im looking for a 12/12 cycle without having to use a figure 8 power cord cause I dont have one at the time.

most radio's which have detachable plug in cords use the same voltage as the aerogarden hood ... and amazingly with a little bit of trimming of the rubber around the part that plugs to the radio it can be made to fit the aerogarden ... then from there just plugged into a light timer ... thats how i had to do it to get my hood to be a part of my main setup ... now i use the main aerogarden deluxe hood , 6 23watt cfl's with reflector hoods and 2 LED panels 50 watts each ... it creates a decent yeild ...but take it from someone who's been growing in an aerogarden for a long long time ... get more light ... you'll have to find a way to raise the hood up about where it can go ... i actually drilled holes into the arm of the hood and screwed it to the wall of my grow cabinet
