So its gettin' close to the end of the grow... I've heard about molasses, however I get the impression its not good for hydro. Am I wrong? I want the botanicare Sweet but I don't want to make the drive to the hydro store...Anything good to throw in there in when there flushing??? Any home-made recipes? haha SO :leaf:
hey nukk i used molasses with my last aerogarden grow and it seemed to work ok gave bud a nice sweet taste and was great but u will have a sticky mess to clean up after the grow is done .if i were u i would just go pick up something from the hydro store!!!!!!!1

Still going strong! Leaves are beginning to yellow, everyday there's about 2 or 3 leaves that just sort of fall off when I touch them...I figure this means there ready to go. Top leaves are yellowing but I'm pretty sure its the natural nitrogen sucking yellowing, what do you guys think? I went ahead and began flushing today, limiting this grow to 8 weeks, NO MATTER WHAT. I hope the trichs are mature enough by then, I don't have a choice :-| Hairs are about 25% ripe, I figure the next two weeks will do the trick. Let me know what you guys think, I hope I'm not fucking this up. :peace:
lookin damn good man!!!!!:mrgreen:i dont think u would be fuckin it up if u harvested in 8 weeks thats what i did last grow but u would amazed at what a extra week or 2 will do for bud production!i was goin to cut one of my plants down last week but i decided to wait and iam still waiting going to cut it in a couple of days and i am glad i waited it out!!!!!check out my new pics on my thread when u get a chance:peace:keep up the good work

Just got back from vacation...apparently the AC went off for a couple days, might of stressed her a bit but she's a champ, considering its been 104 every day. When should I harvest? I know its all about trichs, but I'm having a hard time seeing them with the naked eye...and no $ for a scope. It might seem like I'm rushing this grow, thats because I am. I have to move out of my place in a week, realtors being my main concern...The sooner the better!!! What do you guys think? She's was on 25% nutes for a week and has been on plain distilled since monday...

I just treated myself to the AeroGarden Delux, but was terribly dissapointed because I could not remove the herb seeds it came with from the pods I understand the seeds are glued in there, so I'll wait I ordered seedless pods. But tell me if your plant needs to be supported from falling over what will you use for that. Is there a reason you are blocking the holes with those golf balls, does it make your one plant better? I am a newbie here so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

As for something falling over. I havnt seen a plant fall over in pics yet using the aerogarden. As for covering the holes. You need to cover it with something so you do not get root rot. I used Black Electrical tape over the holes then used Reflective tape over the entire base. But you dont need to do it that way. My baby is just about to spread her leaves after Germ. So excited.

Decided to harvest her...had a little sample smoke...was awesome, extremely giggly and "uppy"...loved it. Satisfied with this as it is my first harvest. Plan on doing blue moonshine next and I can't wait because it will be much much better. will post pics when cured. I am following the hang, brown bag, then glass jar curing method.

As far as weight I am guesstimating about 1/2 to 3/4 an oz.

Also, all trimming and leaves are boiling with some olive oil right now and water, making some hand lotion!!!!... for my friends mom who has bad arthritis, but can't wait to see if it actually works myself!

i have read alot of material promoting 24 hr light on for vegative stage vs the normal 18 hr on, 6 hr off. Any opinions on which one works better? and won't leaving the light on for 24hours stress the plant?

I've never done any scientific tests (3 grows at the same time/temp with different light cycles) but I would really hesitate going over 20 hours of light. I once did an 18/6 grow at the same time as a 20/4 grow and really couldn't see a difference, so I tend to stick to 18/6 (but do 19/5 early when the plants really aren't doing much.)

Well from what ive heard. Ideally if you want the best buds best dank and less stress i think you should do 20/4 or 18/6 HOWEVER if height is an issue keeping the lights on all the time will greatly reduce stretch and wont stress them enough to do any damage. So if space is an issue 24/0, if you have all the room you need i would try giving them some sleep(helps lengthen lightbulb life span as well) :P

I have space issues and keep my vegging on 24/0bongsmilie
