Aerogarden Pro 200 First Grow

So I've been reading up on growing, mainly reading forums for the past year or two. I think it is finally time to grow my first plant. I bought an Aerogarden about 3 months back and had the gourmet herb kit in their for a while, really happy with how perfect those plants grew, I am excited to see what it can do with weed. I bought the Pro 200 because of the extra lighting and 2 foot extendable arm. The light puts out about 4500 lumens; I've heard 10000 is optimum so I will most likely invest in a HO T5 florescent or an ecogrow bulb soon to be a little closer. I germinated the chronic seed in between two plates with wet paper towels, it was germinated, set in the aerogarden, and sprouted within 3 days. There is distilled water and some shultz plant food "plus" (10-15-10), I think its supposed to be around 20% nitrogen but is this still ok? I've also put a air-stone in the reservoir (picture), I just ran the tubing through one of the grow holes and sealed it where the light was getting in. DON'T WANT NO ROOT ROT. The reflector shields I just made out of the box the aerogarden came in and some tin foil. Seems to be working fine, but some mylar might be a good investment pretty soon. The fan I got at Wal-mart, works great by moving air through the unit, and the shield stops it from toppling over the plant which worked out perfectly. I realize I'm really lacking in the nutrient department, I would like to go organic...possibly fox-farm or something like that. Any recommendations would be great!! Oh I also got a PH test kit, trying to keep it around 5.5-6.0. I got PH up and down at the pet store for aquariums, is it safe for my plant?

I will post more pics and updates often, any advise would be great.

Also...The temperature seems to be higher in my reservoir now that the bubble stone is in there. Is this ok? Having trouble lowering my PH as well, wants to stay around 7.2 :(
