aerogarden tips

i have an aerogarden 3 with 2 "diesel" seeds germing for almost 24 hours now. how long after they become a seedling should i wait to add the nutrients? i have the entire b.c. grow armada so any tips would be awesome. it came with thrive alive and root 66 to help clones develop a better root system, would this help seedlings or burn them? once again any help is greatly appreciated :bigjoint:

Before u add the nutrients u need to know what ppm u are planning to feed at and pH according to the feed. U can give them a low feed around 350ppm seems to work well for clones or rootings. Thrive alive u can add right away but go with what the bottle says. I think it is 1-3mL for hydro and soil is 3ML per L. The Thrive alive will not burn your roots just make sure u have everything undercontroll by controlling the pH when u start your feed program. If I were u I were start asap when u frist introduce them into your aero system, but make sure u start at 350ppm and increase weekly.

I would tell u what pH to use, but thats VERY arguable amoungst most people. I would go by the book on this one until u fine tune your system.

what do i need to measure the ppm? once it sprouts in the next day or two i will post pictures. the garden has a self timer for 17:7 so should i put it on a timer during the veg stage or will that one hour not affect it? i apologize if these questions are common knowledge i just want to make sure my babies survive

at the hydroponic store he said you can add nutrients as soon as there are roots, i did half the dose then in a couple days i dumped out the water and added full doseage, and my plant has been taking off its like 3 inches now with 4 little branches off, and its 14 days old, using ag too btw

which nutes are you using? has anyone heard anything about the b.c. series? the guy at our hydroponics store seemed to know what he was talking about but its tough getting information when they cant talk to you about it...also they were selling cubensis spores for $40 is this a good deal? i wouldnt even know where to begin to cultivate them but shrooms are a rare rare treat around here

I used extra lights... but that is a very real AG grow...

also ive heard rumors of the roots growing into the water pump. is this true and if so how can i avoid it?

If you were asking me..

I had 4 clones that I started flowering at 3" high...

The res had a lot of roots in there, and I managed to keep them separate from each other... no root ball...

Keep in mind the biggest plant on this grow was 6" tall by 13" wide...

As soon as I had roots in the water... the pump was unplugged... I used an air pump/stone the whole grow...

So I never had issues with roots in the pump....
