Just my damn luck i got this pretty little lowryder now day 11 and my cheapo camera won't work i promise as soon as i can get another cam i'll show her off i hope its a female.

I have been seeing adds for the AeroGarden everywhere and I really thought it would be a waste just because of how small they are. But I am def ordering one ASAP! Keep up the good work everybody =]

you can get a light upgrade from areo garden, that will extend the hieght to 24 inchs.also the mastergardener kit comes with a years worth of pods sponges noots and no seeds.

tek, once agen your right, i use the flowering setting and set it so i get 18/6 for the lights. (by pressing and holding the lights button you can maualy set the timer) i tried from seed and they grew also tried from sprouting them 1st and they took off really well

I am doing the same, drop the tablet in reservoir, you may want igbuy some high dollar nutes. Check out the upgrade sysetem on ebay, doubles height posibility..good luck

So nothing better than to post SWIMs college grow! SWIMs aero is safely tucked away in a closet far from campus. It has been close to two weeks of pure 24/7 and the babies are growing like mad. I am not going to lie; I got most of the good pointers from this forum. Like mylar from Wal-Mart for 2$. Steal. I also hacked the aero and have lowered the lights so they are no more than 3 inches from the leafs at all times. In my experience, having the lights this close allows for the most lumen absorption. You will notice some mylar wrapped around a few pieces of cardboard just to give some more light to the bottom of the leafs. In addition to purchasing a 70watt HPS intended for flowering, swim bought the 3pak foxfarm nutes and has been using the hyrdo schedule at ½ strength. With all of the extra additions put into this small grow op, and on top of the limited college fund plan, a DIY co2 injector was created with a little bit of aquarium plumbing and a gallon jug plus yeast+sugar+water.

Now for the Questions and Answer section.

Q: has anybody tried loading the co2 directly into the reservoir. I have heard that roots will absorb the carbon dioxide, however wouldn’t the surface area of the fan leaves be enough to take in all the necessary gases?

Q: Can marijuana be flowered until sex is shown and then put back into veg stage with little or no stress?

Plants absorb co2 through there leaves and oxygen through there roots. So In my opinion leave the carbon dioxide around the foliage.

yes but why? flower until sex is shown then take clones if its a female that flower it out and throw the clones in to flower after the first batch is done.

Why do people buy this system? Its so tiny. Buy a Botanicare 14 site turbogarden aero system and be done with it!

People purchase what they can afford; and when a company comes around with another all in one unit such as the aero garden maybe people will pay attention to your bogus comments! To prove how [/FONT]ill-advised your post really is, one just has to do a simple search on the internet to find that the system you speak of is above $400! A way different class in its own, now add buying a light because Botanicare doesn’t come with on and you mind as well just Build one yourself and save the other $200 for something along the lines of school. Did you ever think that the title of a forum like Aerogarden v3.0 would hint to some that all we care about is the tiny expensive aero garden? Please take my harsh tone as a privilege because it has been a while since I have come back to a forum just to talk shit to a stupid stoner.

I bought the Ag from ebay about a month ago> i have a closet that i dont use so i decided this was the best place to set up shop... I germinated a few bag seeds and put them in the herbs and basil sponges, sprouted beautifully now they are about a month and a week into flowering and grow like 2 inches a night >i use 1 aerogarden nutrient tablet a week, i cant seem to keep up, i have nice thick stalks, no signs of burning from nutes, this is my first time ever growing i dont top or anything, I will seriously need to modify the hood so i can extend the lamp as i start to flower next week, can someone post pics on how to do this?

I would enjoy any pictures you may have of the setup. I also purchased my AG from Ebay... I was pretty paranoid about shopping online so I had it delivered to my friends house, waited for it to cool down and drove it to the nearest closet! I am not too sure what model AG you have, but wouldn't mind showing you how SWIM did it. lemme know. post some pics!

hello im a newb and need to grow 2-3 plants for medical reasons. is this system easy enough for someone like me??... not to smart lol. so it would be ok to use the tablet nutes from the system? an how often do you have to change the water?? thanks so much for the help. btw i was thinking of growing the lowryder auto flowering type plants. thanks!

my bad on the late reply i took some pics with my web cam i took off the ag hood yesterday, and added to clamp lights with 2 100 w spiral cfls, each with 1300 lumens, i started flowering yesterday and i figured i should just up the light a bit, as i mentioned they are all bag seed and i have 3 that should stick it out till harvest so heres some pics, i spent only 25 dollars on both lamps and bulbs...lets pray to the ganja gods that they r healthy

im pretty much of a newbie also heck im a senior in h.s living with my mom, this system is idiot proof, i use one nute tablet every 2 weeks, anything else would be too strong, the only time i changed the water was on 2 occasions because i place too many tabs in at once and i had some chemical burn, im pretty sure that lowryder is the best strain to grow in the ag. i was goin to use lowryder 2 for my next grow,
