How you guys feel about them?
If you're growing for yourself they're great! Just understand that they were designed to grow herbs and vegetables in your house or apartment, not M/J. You can grow two to three plants though with a few minor modifications. Last year I had a chance to review a book that's coming out this fall about how to grow medical M/J with an Aerogrden and there were a lot of good ideas in it. It was written by a guy named Sebastian and you might want to keep your eyes open for it. A/G's are compact and very user friendly. But make sure you buy a six or seven hole A/G unit with the tall arm/light stand that extends up to 24 inches and a hood with the THREE high intensity CFL's, not two. Also, don't buy the compact space saver models or the A/G 3. The model with the shorter arm/light stand and two round CFL's is not as user friendly for what we're doing either. They have one super duper model that has the tall arm/light stand, three high intensity CFL's and all the bells and whistles and light controls from 24 hours on down to twelve/twelve, just like we need. It's inexpensive to run compared to the lighting on other growing systems that use the same amount of electricity as a small town, unless you're somehow stealing it from your neighbor. You'll need a figure eight cord and an independent timer to bypass the A/G light controls on the older models like mine to force blooming and an aquarium air pump really helps. As you may have guessed, I really love mine. If you get one I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy yours.
