Aeroponic clones failing?

I've cloned off of my 16 site cloner 100's of time I'm not really sure what's going on here in thinking lack of light and or my clonex what bad first time I've only gotten 6 out of 16 to root. Every time before this I've gotten a 100% success rate.

Don't know if you can check your water temps. I tracked my temps over time and found if I can keep them between 70-75F everything roots on time and 100%. Above will tend to attract slime/crap, below they slow down or sometimes fail to root some of the clones. Some strains are a pain in the ass all around but for the most part in that temp range I'm good.

Edit: Change in seasons tends to swing the temps in my case so I adjust the environment to suit.

yeah prob clonex or temp swing. u shouldn't need clonex with an aeroponics cloner. usually works great with out it.

the health of the donor is the only other thing not already mentioned

I have noticed

if the mom gets root bound or is fed too much N clones don't root as easily
also consider if the donor has even mild (un-visible) PM itll slow your cuttings down

make sure your cleaning the cloner thoroughly including the inside of the pump getting flushed

for a while o got so frustrated with my cloning machine I tossed it and I ended up going old school which is actually in some ways easier if your struggling with warm water temps

but I miss the root mass from the cloning machine that I don't get as quickly old school

im thinking about investing in a new machine one day
