I'm running an Aeroponic/NFT system made out of three 8ft long 5x5" hollow white fence posts, laying across a frame made out of PVC, with a slight decline towards the drain side that goes back to the rez.. It has a pump in the rez that splits into 3 lines and runs along each chamber, with spaghetti tubing connecting from the lines to a sprayer in between each net pot. So the roots get sprayed, and then the water runs down each channel back into the rez. This is why its both Aero as well as NFT.
Anyway, I'm running small plants moved from my aero cloner with roots maybe 7" long. I'm running Advanced 3-part (G,M,B) for nutes, at about 400-500ppm (1ml/L) as it suggests on their site for clones.
However, they're showing symptoms of some kind, some of them turning lighter in color, some with purpleish spots on the leafs, some with light-brown roots.. I'm also running 3ml/G hydrogen peroxide 30% now because of the roots, although they don't smell or anything, but they aren't white so I'm worried.. Anyway, the water seems a fine temperature, so I'm not sure why they are having difficulties growing normally. They should be thriving damnit. What could be wrong?
