LOL dont i feel dumb, i saw the 40 minute cycle, didnt notice 50 sec intervals, well that timer sure looks a little more appealing now...
Thank you greatly for correcting me, i think i am going to order this one before the 70$ adjustable one now...

Aero45.... you use something like 40 seconds on then 200 seconds off?

1 click on (50 seconds) 7 clicks off (50 seconds x 7 ..so 350 seconds off)

I am still playing with my off time trying to see what the plants like best. My current setup will drain-to-waste a 5gal reservoir in a week. I may shorten the off time here soon, just watching the roots first to see how they respond.

I find my on / off cycles constantly change as the plant grows it wants more on less off... more roots drink more. started at 1 on 4 off, went to 1 on 6 off now I am at 2 on 4 off. a good timer with dials makes the whole thing much easier. or you will spend a lot of time re clicking all the clicks
The main difference between aero and hydro is the pump and misters. you should invest in a good pump, and timer or really it is hydro. and if the pump dies so do the plants... quick
It is a bit more cost up front but the return is worth it.

With High Pressure Aero (HPA) you feed cycles are <2 seconds feed & 2-3-4-5... minutes pause- 24/7.
