Afghan Kush Ryder Autoflowering with CFLs, First Timer

Hello everyone, to start off a some information. This is my first grow, on a students budget.
Lighting: 125w CFL with dual spectrums, 6400k + 2700k, and one 20w 2700k CFL
Nutrients: BioBizz Bloom, and concentrated feed for houseplants (13, 7, 11)
Oscillating fan, 3walls painted white, one mylar wall, and mylar placed above the light. No exhaust or intake fans, (not allowed to modify the wardobe), I do have a carbon filter in there though.

Other information: i've got another plant, none autoflowering, which is a bit of a problem as i don't want to diminish yield on this plant by changing lighting cycles.

My problem

When i germinated my seeds i chucked my autoflowering and photoperiod in together, during sprouting i repotted the plant i thought was auto into a 3gal. Unfortunately, i repotted the wrong plant, leaving my auto in a 6inch pot.

What kind of problems is this causing? Is it going to have a big impact?

I can't really repot now, on day 26 of flowering, stress, stunted growth both issues.

people say you shouldn't transplant auto's.. but i have without them skipping a beat.. just be gentle and keep the soil together when moving..
but i usually just start them in their finishing pots for ease..

also that cfl need to be turned horizontal.. you'll get better coverage and penetration (that's what she said)...
also what soil is that?
also maybe reconsider leaving plants on your window sill that are public street facing?

the light situation with photo and auto.. an option is to keep the light at 20/4 but remove the photo after it has received 12 hours and put it somewhere completely dark.. its a pain in the ass but the only other is reducing the light which well reduce the auto... next time stagger them and start the photo after..

mantiszn, ever noticed any stunted growth or stress? What do you think would be the best way to do it?
The only way the light works its like that, I would like to change it but I can't. Its dual spectrum, so at the moment the 6400k is facing the auto plant, reckon its worth changing around so the 2700k faces it instead?
No special soil, just basic soil from a garden centre. haha i only had it there for the photo, it does get a lot of sun there in the morning though which is good.

i prefer to transplant after watering if done correctly there should be little to no shock..
it's unlikely to be seriously root bound at this point.. usually tearing roots from the pot is what causes some shock..

Roots are just starting to poke through the drainage holes. I've just looked at 'tiering' the pots, just cutting away the bottom of the pot, and placing the pot within a bigger pot, obviously with soil in. Any thoughts on that?

Unfortunately for me, it looks like the pain in the ass method of removing it after 12hours is gonna have to be my method of choice :/. Ermm what would happen say if i missed moving it say once or twice a day?

i would just repot normally to be honest..

also don't miss a day.. set your alarm or something.. its not going to die instantly if you do miss a day.. but it will stress and confuse the poor thing..

I solved my problem by carefully repotting, decided to cut the pot down the side to make it easier to get it out, its now in a much bigger pot



If you are growing this strain leave some comments, a will check yours out aswell, if your thinking about growing this too.

Absolutely no idea on yield?!?!? Heard 5grams - ounce!!

Having pH problems, its 7 at the moment and i can't get it too drop!

get some ph down... if you can't get hold of any try some lemon juice..

Is lemon juice better than vinegar? I've been using vinegar for a few days now.

Do you have a grow?

personally would only use apple cider vinegar if i had nothing else... or lemon juice.. molasses also works
i bought a bottle of ph down for about a fiver... but have never used it...

i run all my water through a brita water filter jug.. ph comes out at about 6.5 so no need for adjustments really..

Hopefully i can get it down to 6.5, 7 isn't too bad, the plant seems happy.

Had a case of nute-burn, added 5ml per litre of water, BioBizz Bloom, up from 1ml. Slight/mild burn on 3/5 of top leaves, flushed. Gonna start feeding again in 2/3days.

Jellybean doesn't look to good at the moment, i am assuming this is nute burn, but i'm not sure , it doesn't look good at all. Any idea if the leaves will recover? or are they gonna die now?



I assume this will effect bud production aswell

depends on how old they are they may recover. but yes looks like ur leaves are nute burn. however I may be experiencing the same thing... but mine always seem to just work out.

She's 46days old, 32days into flowering. Done two small flushes, not thinking it was too bad, gonna do a big flush tomorrow morning, and she how she does from there.

Burn still hasn't cleared up. The leaves, are curled up and brown, pretty dead. I don't know what is gonna happen from here, anyone know?
