Afghan Kush X Black Domina outdoor

Hi all,
I wanted to start sharing this grow. I grow one plant a year, I’m not a big smoker but one a year seems to supply me with a joint a night and plenty to share with friends.
I got this as a freebie from Herbies a couple of years ago. Spourted fairly quickly. Soaked it till it cracked then sprouted it in a cardboard pot and planted in the bigger pot when ready. Strangely though with its first 2 leaves and dew leaves still attached it grew about 15cm and had to prop it for nearly the first 3 months.

Seed: World of Seeds, Afghan Kush x Black Domina
Soil: 20L worm castings
20L compost soil
20L pear moss
10L perlite/vermiculite mix
In an air pot
Nutrients: Vege- general hydroponics flora nova 7-4-10
Flower GH flora nova 4-8-7
GH liquid cool bloom 0-10-10
+worm juice occasionally
Location. Vic Aus
I have done some low stress training by tying the outer beaches to the pot allowing better air flow. It has 5 main branches at the top and about 8 main branches around the outside.
I planted on AFL grand final weekend. Maybe a bit early.
It’s in its second week of flower.
Having a shit of a time with whiteflies, neem oil didn’t work a pinch but have found chilli and garlic spray keeps the fuckers at bay.
Any questions or constructive criticism is very welcome.
This is probably my sixth plant / year I have done this.

whats the reservation on the yield? Are you not sure on the strain or the climate?

Hopefully she goes ok. I grew a Superjuani last year by philosophers seeds and it didn’t start flowering until late feb. This one started showing hairs about 2 weeks so I am hoping she finishes a lot earlier.
I do a lot of breeding outdoors at the end of the season and during winter out bush in greenhouses.
Strains like
Gorilla bomb x ghost train haze 1
Black d.o.g x ghost train haze 1
Blue afghoo
Critical super silver haze x trippy gorilla
Kc33 x Mexican
afghani
Pure Mexican
Just put outdoors these strains
Skullcap
Crumbled lime
LA confidential
Strawberry glue
Pineapple express
Amnesia lemon
I don't mind gifting strains I make at the end of the season.

Man that’s awesome! There are some great strains there. I would to see some of your grow reports! And certainly be open to exchanges.

Can anyone clarify for me what worm juice actually does? I know it the plants seem to absolutely love it but I’m just unsure of the science behind it?

Man that is sooo good! What do you think of the gorilla glue to smoke?
I’m jealous you have a nice hide. I’m in the city so I can really only grow one. I’m pretty happy with a short one this year, I grew a GH El Niño a few years ago that was over six foot and it just stank. I nearly had to sleep next to it every night I was so worried it was going to get pinched.
I’m in about week 3 I think and unfortunately I’m going on holidays at Easter so she is going to have to come out the night before I go so hopefully she is ready!!
But she is starting to fatten up nicely.

I gave up smoking pot. Just a hobby and a bit of spare money. The people I've given gorilla bomb to have said its melted there brain and equal to the strongest strains they have smoked. Nice plant you have there. Very healthy looking. I live 500 metres from the beach and 1 km behind me is the start of the rainforest.

That sounds like paradise! I live a few K’s from the Melbourne CBD... hardly comparable.
That’s cool to hear about the GG I had always wanted to grow it but didn’t think that the yield would be any good on one plant. Gotta plan for the year.
She does seem pretty healthy, she is fairly well cared for. First year I haven’t been overly attentive. Just some LST early on and only pulled leaves if they are bit worn out from the whitefly or just generally older looking. Usually I get a bit carried away with cropping them.

So you are not that far for Melbourne then ? What beaches did you go to? Im from Qld so I find it pretty hard to compare beaches, I go to Venus bay a bit, reminds me a lot of Stradbroke island
