READ ME FIRST then ask ?'s

Whats up folks. well I don't have a green thumb at all. I am allowed to have an outdoor garden but i have an orange thumb (opposite of green) So after many failures I gave up and got one of these. And please don't hound me about HPS. I really suck at gardening and would flood my tiny house with a big hydro system so this is right for me and my somewhat moderate usage. If I can get the hang of this than maybe future upgrade.......but please shush up about HPS for now I know its better! Thanks Anyways

Lights: AG hood, RIP reptile Light (bah), 3 100w eq. CFL

Ok its been a few weeks so here we go

2 weeks 24 hr only AG light. Then I added 2 side lights and ran it at 16/8 "vegitables" for one more week. They all looked like girls so I added 2 more lights and air pump/airstone and threw them into 12/12 flower (week 4) to make sure...little did i know these suckas would go off. Now they kinda gettin bushy. they'll be some more pics...need advice after next set of pics tomarrow...I could use + rep!:leaf: Clean slate from my last bashing due to torcherously horrible outdoor gardening:dunce:.

looking healthy, but have you ever considered the improvement a metal halide bulb might get you? j/k, it all looks good. I like "orange thumb", I was the same way, it's slowly turning green...
Are you able to put up some type of reflective shit, or are the sides enough? anyways, good luck and happy growing

a 10 year old seed? is that even possible? i have some seeds from 5 years ago and most of them don't want to germinate. though i keep them anyway, i don't like to throw things out that i might use later. but 10 years? wow :0 nice looking plants you got there looks like your thumb turned green :) :peace:

well i germed the 10yr old out of a whole bunch of them(3-12 popped at all) in several towels/bag trick and i only picked the only thick taproot. My bro found them in my old room in a small rubber sealed glass jar(for airbrush paints) and brought them to me b4 i moved out here. To be exact there was a bit of shake in thier too. I have had a couple of failures until this machine and research on here. I ate most of my last "harvest" if that says anything. And I got me a labrat.....poor wally world roma tomato plant. But its doing good also!

Well i know nobody looks here but DON"T OVER NUTE YOUR SHIT......DON"T PLANT TOO MANY AT FIRST!.......I'm not gonna take pics of dead plants, its hard enough to look at at this point. I have two remaining alive and one on the way out. I am going to try flushing out the system tomarrow if there is no improvement or if it gets worse. I don't want to do it now cause thats my first thought and i am a bad gardener...i got a second opinion and gonna take it. I have the big one...possible herme....and two that have been planted in drilled out plant spaces so the stems can't get much thicker. I hope somebody reads this and doesn t make the same mistakes....overnuting makes it go DEAD SLOW!!!!!!!!!!!

. The ten year old is still alive but it has a converted spacer to grow out of. So the trunk cant get much thicker.....that may spell disaster...i cut away the drilled spacer from the other one with a dremel tool. I am going to wait till the last minute to do this with the ten year old in case it does work to just sit in there w/o anything holding it. I hope that things look better by friday. And the more i look the more the big one is looking male. There are some ball looking things growing singularly halfway down the stem...i hope these are just young poofy buds. But my instinct says herme ad my grow is fucked!

Yea, you can probably top that plant if you need to.

Just leave the roots in there and let them fall off on their own, you don't want to risk breaking the roots on your living plants.

Right on...i wish i wouldnt have cut it so far down now but there is still a little bit of stem left to pull later. and those balls look to be just young pistols:weed: And the ten year old one looks to have some relation to white widow, very dark green, very female healthy look, especially if thats a sativa. The largest of them had a 3 day head start and is a hog....the folks at AG need to look into making baskets inside to contain the roots some more.....maybe one of the geniuses here can figure a good way....hell cut down strawberry cartons may help some. Too late now.

Shit, Shit, Shit.........I lost one plant two days ago as i posted....I tried to remove its root system but i think i removed a bunch of roots from all of em....then i went against my advise and flushed.....that would have been fine if i did not use a declorinizer with a really stong PH buffer ALWAYS READ THE PACKAGE FIRST. The third shit...the ag pump got clogged from some stray roots and my timer crapped out so i guess all it got was ag hood light for the last day and half. Needless to say some peeps just shouldn't garden at all....My result is wilted slimy plants. They are surely dead and they smells like nutes so i am just gonna chuck them since the fert can't be flushed. I took a pic of the dead ones and may use it as my avitar, it is kinda funny seeing such ugly unhealthy things, and on top of that dead in an AG....hahaha....I m sure peeps would get a good laugh in the end so just short of complete failure i guess.

If you are in doubt take the advice people have to give.. I told you not to mess with the roots because you're probably going to break the live ones.

I don't know what kind of nutrients you are using but I would highly recommend some kind of liquid fertilizer combo like foxfarm hydro.

You have to just let your plants grow, stop messing with them.

Temp, pH, nute concentration are the main things you should be worried about, if all of those things check out fine and your plant is free of any deficiencies just let them grow.

If you nute burn them, just back off on the nutes and give them some fresh pH'd water.

I thought I didn't have a green thumb either and look what I managed to produce...

Granted it went male, but I learned alot from that grow.

Temp pH ppm are 3 of the most important factors...

You give them the right food, pH, and keep them in a comfortable temperature range and your plants will be happy.

Man trust me I am sorry for not sticking to your advise. It was great advise too. Except i think that the ph of 7 helped kill them almost instatly. and I used one large AG nute in the nasty brew along with prime water conditioner and tap water. I'm gonna still visit this site, posting in politics section and med section but I need a break from watching/smelling grass grow. Besides i am only supposed to have 5 and at one point i think i had six (including dirt seedling) in pictures. I am alittle foggy on the regs and if i lose my med rights i am going to have to enjoy my chrones disease in its entirety again! REALLY REALLY BLOWS ASS..hehehe....I was on my blackberry getting bombarded with ?'s at the dispenc's regulation orientation.
